Joao lives upstairs so collecting the key was simple. Évora visitor parking is across the street so if you pay the minimal fee, there is no risk of an expensive ticket. The flat is lovingly and sophisticatedly curated and situated in a real community to you don't feel like a stranger. It's really exceptional. I am sad to leave.

Joao met me to deliver the key. He is kind, funny and responsive through whatsapp. He lives upstairs and is available to assist in all things, including welcoming and enjoying my dogs. The flat is located near the historic theatre, and visitors get to experience real life in Évora. You are close to food, music, markets, the public garden, the dog park, and the footpath around the walls. São Bento and great walks in the countryside are easily accessible. The flat is cool and very comfortable and the bathroom is the best! The kitchen is well stocked and I cooked 99% of my meals during my stay. I hope to always be able to stay here when I return for work and visiting my family.
