Casas S Cristovao

Un petit logement entièrement équipé. Les 2 chambres + le salon-cuisine sont équipé de climatisation, ce qui est une bénédiction à Evora vu les températures. La cuisine entièrement équipée, les lits sont confortables, la douche italienne est très bien, le jet d'eau (très important) a une bonne pression. Nous avons très peu vu notre hôte, mais joignable facilement et très sympathique.

Le seul hic, mais ça ne concerne pas l'hébergement : le parking. Il n'y a pas de place devant la maison, mais on trouve toujours une place aux alentours, nous n'avons eu aucun problème à nous garer dans une rue parallèle.

geräumiges Appartement direkt in der Stadt - die Angaben zum Parken waren sehr hilfreich. Wer jedoch einen Parkplatz vor der Haustüre bevorzugt, sollte sich eine andere Unterkunft suchen. Parken nur für Anrainer - was nachvollziehbar ist in der Innenstadt.

There are definitely some very nice "pros" to Casas S Cristovao. First, the air conditioning is the biggest "plus" to the apartment. If you're not aware, the Alentejo heat can be brutal in the summer. Having the AC is a HUGE plus. Second, if you're staying more than a few days, having a washing machine to clean your clothes is also a benefit. Also, the architectural design is wonderful. It is a beautiful apartment, with exposed timber and steel beams. It is a visually appealing. And the hosts are extremely gracious. We had car troubles on our way to Evora, and the hosts allowed us to check-in a few hours beyond our original estimated arrival time.

Unfortunately, there are also quite a few drawbacks to the apartment. The apartment was not as "clean" as we hoped based on all the reviews. There were some small spiders on the bed when we first arrived. Additionally, there was mold inside the shower, which also happens to leak near the toilet. And the toilet button sometimes "pops off" when you flush. The bed linens and towels are as hard and rough as sandpaper. And lastly, some of the other guests also noted the stains on the couch and the broken drawers in some of the rooms.
