Great size and very clean our host Claire was very helpful e we hen we informed her that the fan didn’t work , she found one and delivered it out straight away . The other great thing was location to the city centre . Plus across the road from the pub where my grandson works

Location of this flat was ideal. An easy walk from bus stops, train stations, and all of the attractions in York that I visited. There is a nice Sainsbury's Local just a couple minutes away. Very quiet, with comfortable beds and seating. I arrived during a massive heat wave, and knew the flat did not have air conditioning. A small floor fan helped cool the air a bit as long as you were seated directly in front of it. Bootham is a busy area, but I found the place to be very quiet.
I really missed not having a microwave oven. It was very hot during most of my stay, and it would have been great if I hadn't had to run the oven to heat up "ready meals". A small table in front of one of the sofas would have been nice to sit a glass of wine or cup of coffee on.
