Chiora Inn

The place is amazing! The view is stunning, I don't think there are many guesthouses/inns in Georgia, especially Racha, with such an amazing view. It was breathtaking every day. Location is also great - walking distance to the river, close to other villages worth seeing. The inn is in the mountains, and by car and by hiking, you get to even more stunning mountains with amazing views and fresh air. The staff are very nice and polite, make you feel like home. They are ready to help with anything, and are happy to give you any info on the village and nearby sights and culture. The food is very good, homemade and cozy. They have a lot of veggie options, amazing trout and great mint tea with cake. We felt right at home every breakfast and dinner. They also serve lunch. You can also drink amazing water straight from the tap. The rooms are very very cozy and homey, just what you would want from a cottage in the mountains. They have towels, shampoo, soap, body wash, toilet paper. We did bring toothpaste, but I'm sure they would provide it if needed. The bed was comfy, and even on cold nights, we had blankets to keep us warm.

There is really nothing to complain about. Maybe just a couple of things to keep in mind: The water pressure in the shower is low, although it does get very hot, which is a plus! The wooden cottage does have a lot of noise coming from other rooms.

I've visited quite a few places in Racha, but none of them come close to Chiora. Stunning hotel, with breathtaking views, beautiful garden, lovely staff, and mouthwatering cuisine. By far the best place to stay in Racha.
