George & Dragon

Lovely pub, friendly staff. We only stayed 1 night but the rooms were very clean and had everything you needed. The breakfast was cooked beautifully and really tasty. We would have had diner there but unfortunately it was the Christmas market on within Tarvin that evening so no food was served other than a stall outside. Free parking for people staying in the pub. Within a 15 min drive into Chester - Wouldn’t hesitate to go back. An enjoyable if not brief visit.

A great find in a quiet area, close to Chester, with early check in - will recommend to others.

Great for what we needed. Very accommodating letting us check in early as required. Good sized room, decent shower. Breakfast was excellent

We had a lovely time staying at the George and dragon. The Tarvin Christmas market was on , the day of our arrival and the road was due to close from lunchtime, the landlord was very accommodating and let us check in earlier than usual,before the road closed, which was really kind. The hotel was warm and welcoming and we had a meal in the afternoon which was amazing value, good portions and really tasty. The room was clean and comfortable and the stay was made even better by the friendly staff. Breakfast was very nice, a full English breakfast set us up for a day at Chester Christmas market. I would definitely stay again in the future.
