Cool looking guest house in a very convenient location to see Porto. Nicely remodeled except the lighting in room and staircase was very dark. The staff were very kind and breakfast was very yummy. They provided us with a small take away breakfast to have for our flight the next day. We had a lot of stairs to hike up, each floor is bigger than a standard flight of stairs, so getting to our room after walking around Porto was a bit exhausting. Our Double Deluxe room was not 269 feet as advertised on Expedia. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but wished we had a room on a lower level floor that was actually 269 square feet with proper lighting.

Perfect location and great value at this hotel! It was quiet but centrally located with lots of character. Breakfast every morning was such a treat and very filling (we really missed this when we went onto another city). Staff are friendly and helpful, and know each of their guests at any given time. Rooms were surprisingly spacious given the age of the building.

Really enjoyed our long weekend at this hotel. We stayed in room 6, the view was amazing and room really nice, clean with everything we needed. Communication was great when checking in, clear instruction of how to access the building along with where our key card would be left. Breakfast was great, assorted meats, fruit and bread, along with yogurts and cakes. Also were able to get scrambled egg to order if you wanted. One thing to note, there is no lift in the guest house (only a luggage lift). As we stayed on the top floor there was a several flights of stairs to the room. This wasn’t an issue for us but something to be aware of if mobility is an issue. Overall would recommend to stay here for a weekend of exploring Porto. Location is great, as within walking distance to everything. Will be back if we ever visit Porto again!
