The room was very spacious. And the location was fantastic. Even though you had to walk up the hill a lot of the things to see it was a great location.

It would’ve been really nice if the guest can drop their luggage off. Or leave it in till they either move on to a different place or their flight leaves. Porto was very hilly and it is a lot to drag your luggage with you.

The place was fine, but I didn't see any staff. My only request was to use the bathroom about 30 minutes before check-in, but it wasn't possible; they had absolutely no empathy.

The hotel was in a great location, right near the river close to the Palacio da Bolsa -- a main tourist attraction -- and the tourist tram end stop. The room was very large and had a coffee maker and refrigerator and comfortable bed, couch and desk. The bathroom was adequate and did have a hair dryer. There is NO staff -- but they send you an email with details about how to get into the main door and how to get the key to your room. It all worked well. Our view was of the river so it was really nice - and was not noisy (except when a group of motorcycles went by). Overall really a good value though i would not consider it luxurious. One suggestion if you are staying here -- instead of telling the taxi, Uber or GPS the actual address, put in the coordinates for the Tram Restaurant R. Nova da Alfândega 1, 4050-253 Porto -- and then walk down the street on the backside of the restaurant. It is just 2 doors away from that. If you put in the actual hotel address, since it's a tiny one-way street- you will be going out of your way to get there.

I realize this is nothing they can change, but there is no elevator, so walking up several flights with suitcases can be a bit tough. Also, they need a light at the front door. We arrived after dark and had a hard time finding the hotel because the painted sign on the front window was not visible and the light over the door showing the number was not working. That also made it hard to see the keypad.

Nice location

They don’t have enough warm water for showers!!! I had a shower for 7 minutes and when my boyfriend went to shower after me it wasn’t no warm water! We messaged the staff and they said that’s a normal thing, which is ridiculous because if they knew, they should have told us before the booking was confirmed!
