Outstanding location in the heart of Porto's Riberia district with easy access to all the main attractions and landmarks within a few minutes of walking. The rooms were small and cozy with all the necessary items (bed, closet, shower, toilet, sink, small desk and AC). They did have a breakfast that is included with your stay that was held in the lobby during the mornings by very friendly staff who were welcoming and extremely kind.
The rooms although came with all amenities, was a bit small with not much extra room besides the bed and desk. The layout of the room worked very very well with the space so it didn't feel cramped but not much movement allowed otherwise. The check in was a bit difficult as it was somewhat hard to find and we did have to wait 20 minutes before we were able to flag down a worker inside who notified the front desk. Otherwise, our check in was easy with no hassle and relatively early (2pm check-in) compared to other locations.

We have stayed here before. Location is great. You are right down by the river. This Guest House has obviously undergone an intensive refurbishment, so very clean but still keeps its charm. Breakfast is included so that is a bonus. You are close to all the attractions and very good restaurants.
Trying to get into the property involved us contacting the number on our booking.com invoice even though we did informed reception off our arrival time. So this can be a bit off putting. However, they did answer right away and told us our key was on the reception desk.

We didn't figure out the A/C and it read write warm. The next morning the owner helped us and it was very comfortable after that.

The room had a smell due to the humidity accumulated in the room, it was a very small room with almost no windows
