Room was uncomfortable. Mattress as it were, was worn. Plastic furniture and a very, very small bathroom in a not so nice location made for a poor overall experience. Would not recommend

Pisa is a wonderful old city with great history. This is an old building (like most of the city). Six keys is a clean and functional place to stay, but do not expect high end amenities. They do have air conditioning. Very small shower.

Simple but just enough for one night. The lady who gridded us was very nice. Room door very difficult to open with key. Bathroom not in room but still private. You have to come out of your room into a common small area and then go into the bathroom. It was kinda different, but I did not see anyone else there to share bathroom. Very convenient to walk to station , 3 blocks and a 15 min walk to the leaning tower where there were many restaurants . Very safe walk . Many small stores to buy water, sodas, wine, beer, electrical outlet adapters or phone cables. One last thing!!! VERY DIFFICULT TO IDENTIFY ENTRANCE DOOR, only a very small and difficult to see 12x12” sign on the side of the street entrance door.

I was mixed and was about to give below average review due to wear and tear and noise (you can hear everything from both outside of the property - and theres a lot of action there at night. And inside (you can hear next room as if theyre standing next to you). But i gave 3 stars because of great customer service. Lady who checked me in and out was amazing. She did not speak english, but was veru nice and welcoming and allowed me to check out later and leave my stuff until later. You also get some freebies such as coffee machine and pods, and some sweets which is nice

It wasn't easy to find the place. It's not hotel you expected outside, no sign whatsoever. I was standing up the next door which is another hotel. They had a security camera so someone came out asking me if I was ok. They probably get all the time. The staff was nice friendly. And coffee machine, kettle, some goodies inside my room for free!

Had a great stay here in Pisa. Allowed us to check in late and easy walking distance to train station and main attractions in Pisa. Friendly staff. Clean room and bathroom decorated nicely. The bathroom was 2 steps across the hallway and private, not a problem.

The street entrance to 6 keys is unprepossessing and the room was spartan and spare but spotlessly clean. It contained everything we needed - a fridge, good coffee maker, snacks and useful table and chairs. Things were old but worked wonderfully well. Savino and his wife were excellent friendly helpful hosts and promptly provided anything extra we requested. 6 keys is in a convenient location - everything within easily within walking distance. It suited us and we would stay there again.

This is a very simple, good value option in Pisa...10mins easy walk from the train station, and another 5 to the bridge from which there is plenty to see in both directions. Bathroom is across the hall which was no issue for me...I felt safe as a single female traveller and was happy with my stay for one night.

Not too far from Centrale station, entrance well signed. Friendly reception, spoke a little English which was helpful. Room was a good size. The overall feeling is basic, not luxurious, but then looking at the price the central location is good value. The bathroom is exclusive use but located across the hall which was inconvenient in the night particularly as the bedroom door lock was extremely finicky, you had to float the key in precisely the right orientation for it to lock otherwise the key didn't work. Bed not very comfortable. A useful place for an overnight stay on the way to somewhere else, but I wouldn't have wanted to stay another night.

I had a great stay at the 6 Keys! The check-in process was great, apart from the fact that the receptionist didn't speak very much English, and I did not speak any Italian. I did not remove any points for this as I was a tourist in a foreign country and the least I could have done was learn the basics of their language before hopping on a plane there; however, Google Translate sufficed for this instance. The room was clean, had a refrigerator, a coffee machine with complimentary pods, and an assortment of pre-packaged breakfast items. The property was located in a good location: 2.1km walk to the airport, 1.3km walk to the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa, 500m walk to the Pisa Centrale train station. My only legitimate complaint was that my bathroom was not attached to my room. I had to leave my room and walk through a common hallway to access my bathroom. This was not advertised anywhere in the listing, which was unacceptable. I had my passports, laptop, tablet, and a few other valuables with me, which meant having to lock the door each time I had to use the bathroom. I only subtracted one star for this. Everything else about my stay was terrific, and the price I paid was significantly lower than anywhere else. I plan to return to this property the next time I visit Pisa, although I will be sure to request a room with an attached bathroom!

Not especially good. Old, noisy both outside and from the other rooms/hallway and the beds was not very comfortable. Breakfast was not much either. But I guess this is what you get for this price, 70€ in april.

Staff were lovely and very helpful. The room was clean and quiet. The location was quite central and near many shops. Definitely will return in the future.
