Our flat was absolutely perfect for what we needed and it did have aircon in the sitting area. We had everything that we needed to cook properly (important when you have allergies in the family), comfortable beds, a nice bathroom and enough space for everyone to sit down to eat.
The residence is in an area with lots of facilities and supermarkets nearby. There are absolutely loads of nearby restaurants. It was convenient for the beach and also a 5-10 min walk from the metro station.
We live in the countryside, but we didn't notice any particular noise.
We completely agree with the review about it being a student residence, rather than a 5 star hotel, but it's a very nice student residence! We would very happily come back the next time that we visit Barcelona.

Pro:
- 5 min walk to the beach
- Only source of noise are other quests, no traffic etc.
Con:
- Breakfast very basic, not what you would expect for the price.
