    We arrived to find out our booking was one double rather than two singles. The staff were so kind and provided us a better room for the inconvenience. The room was lovely and had a balcony with a view of the Sagrada Familia. The staff contributed to be friendly and helpful and had perfect suggestions on where to eat and drink that were less touristy. I was a solo traveller for the last few days, and I felt incredibly safe and taken care of. Would absolutely stay there again.

    A member of the reception team was temperamental was very weird. We got charged 6 Euros for tap water at midnight!! (Unsealed drinkable bottles) Is it a Europe thing? I was sick the whole day. Stepped out to get some food and came back to find housekeeping just folded the very wet (from sweat the flu) sheets and didn't bother replacing them! We also found someone's tooth picker in the room. We got so excited when we saw bikes in the lobby, until we were told it's 5 euros an hour!! All hotels I've been to around the world, they offer bikes complimentary first come first serve. Breakfast not bad, had a variety and we opted to purchase for the duration of our stay. The + Our room was spacious and quiet with large window. Good shower pressure. Bed comfy. Location... It's Barcelona. Anywhere is within reach but didn't find it to possess an exceptional location.
