My partner & I stayed 3 nights at Room Mate Gran Filippo in the Junior Suite w/ Terrace, & we absolutely loved it. We would 100% recommend staying here! Of course, what matters to us may not matter to everyone, so here’s a breakdown of the pros and cons from our experience. Pros * Exceptionally clean — even the terrace furniture was spotless when we arrived. Seriously, one of the cleanest places we’ve ever stayed. * Comfortable bed with daily turndown service. * Complimentary daily water: one still and one sparkling bottle. * Great location near the Spanish Steps — about a 15–20 minute walk. * Grace was incredibly welcoming at check-in and always friendly whenever we saw her coming or going. * Nice toiletries provided, plus a Dyson hair dryer in the room. * The terrace was the highlight for us. We loved starting our mornings with coffee outside and ending the evenings there with a glass of wine. Even when it rained, it was covered enough for us to still enjoy it. * And yes… it deserves another mention: SUPER clean. Cons
(None of these would have stopped us from staying here, but they may matter to others.) * Cannot store your luggage there before check in at 3 PM. There was a storage locker on the same street that we used while we explored. It was about 30 euros for 2 large bags. * The kitchenette shown in photos is shared with the floor, not private to the suite. This wasn’t an issue for us since we didn’t plan on cooking. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.
