    Kevin on the front desk was terrific. Super helpful within his capacity. To be honest the room was about 2 star in terms of the furnishings. There was a wardrobe door that had dodgy hinges, the main shower head that didn't work, the shower recess was pretty mouldy, the bathroom was really dark as the lighting was terrible, the tv picture was furry & the sound was horrible. The cleaning staff need a lot of direction as to what clean is. We didn't use the pool so can't comment however they don't supply pool towels which is kind of strange. If you take up the breakfast deal, be early otherwise there's not much left if you arrive at 9am or later as they don't replenish the offerings.     PROS: Location is nice, nearby and walkable to tourist spots. Bed is good and clean as well. Bed has a curtain for privacy, it has also a power outlet. Staff are okay, though the front receptionist looks a little bit irritated as I check in near her out time. By the way, I think they are accepting guests until 10pm only. What I like here is they let me borrowed their bike. 🙂 CONS : If you are working remotely, oh my! The wifi connection is very terrible! Tried to do internet speed and really slow!     I would not recommend staying here. The pillows and curtains were mouldy and there were rats and cockroaches by the pool in the evenings. The wifi didn’t work in our dorm and random staff walk into our room countless times without knocking, including male staff walking in unannounced into a female dorm.

    Stayed at Hoi An Nostalgia for its affordable pricing and decent location, but overall the experience was mixed. While the services were budget-friendly, the cleanliness really needs improvement—we found a spider in the room, and during the night, there was no staff available to assist, which was a bit concerning. The location is okay, but there are better and cleaner hotels available in the Old Town for a similar price range. With some attention to hygiene and better night-time support, this place could be much better.
