Nostalgia Hotel and Spa

I stayed in a dorm room. It was very affordable, and comfort exceeded expectations. Kevin at the front desk was super helpful and spoke great English.

Nice comfortable hotel with all the necessary equipment. Rooms are clean and AC is good. Breakfast at 7, pool is clean and cool. The hotel is not far from the old town, there are a couple of good eat-outs in the vicinity as well.

The staff did not speak very good English but we solved the questions with translation.

The staff were so friendly, especially the manager Kevin! When I arrived he talked me through everything that was near and the best places to go and where not to go.. even recommended a tailors and the clothes I got from there where incredible! I had an issue with some ants near my bed and he answered my messages immediately despite it being pretty late and got it sorted! He was so kind and caring (probably one of the nicest people I have spoken to while travelling)

Had a problem with ants in/around my bed but it was sorted very quickly so nothing to massively fault

Loved the front desk staff and security. Oh, and laundry services were nice. Safe area despite being a busy area. Close to old town. Market is close by, as well as food options. You can buy drinks on site which is very convenient.

The bathrooms are rough. It is noisy. Floors need to be mopped, not just swept. Pretty sure I heard rats fighting in the walls. I recommend some sort of shower caddy, I’m not sure. You won’t have anywhere to put your soap besides the floor when showering. And the floor is despicable. I was also awoken early on my day of check out by cleaning staff, they loudly turned over the room for guests to the point where I just checked out nearly 2 hours early.
