Very clean nice room

Firstly this is not a hotel. This is an apartment with four rooms in it. Providing you understand this and the price you pay reflects this you will not be disappointed.
Excellent location next to the Vatican. Safe neighbor hood, the street is very busy and noisy but I think this is just Rome. There is a private garden within the apartments also deafening with bird song. Our room was clean, comfortable and basic, it had a fridge, kettle, no cups and no safe. The bathroom was lovely but tiny, not a shower cubical for a larger person. Sita cleaned our room each day and as the only staff we saw, was kind and helpful ( thank you Sita). Luckily she helped us on arrival but fellow guests had trouble checking in. Overall I was happy and would stay again provided as I said the price is reflective of the accommodation.

The first night was a bit rough – we got there late after our flight and there was a mixup with our room. Someone met us at the front door and walked us about 10 minutes to another location. He was very helpful and nice, but it was a little inconvenient/nerve wracking. He did not charge us a late check in fee because of the confusion. The next morning we had to switch to another room, which was a little bit of a problem with check-out time from the first room because we had a scheduled tour. Overall, the room was small but nice and it was clean. I would stay there again, but definitely recommend getting there during the scheduled check in time for a smoother experience. Good location, near the metra.
