I’d avoid this property. I booked for my 60th birthday and was so disappointed we moved to a sister hotel along the road. There are NO staff at check-in. You have to drive along the road. When you meet the staff they are lovely. Also our room was very dark. And the staff in Ali Baba cafe were rude. It is a terrible choice in summer. Perhaps in winter it would be better. In the end I had a wonderful 60th cycling in the Alps in glorious sunshine so it turned out ok in the end.

There was no reception so we paid hotel prices for what was effectively an apartment (without a discount). the town did not have much in the way of restaurants. The hotel property itself was very high quality the food in the restaurant (especially the fondue) was substandard

I had to shorten my stay from 6 nights to 3, asked reception personnel to credit my 2 nights, and my request was refused. It was unkind and unreasonable, thus I do not recommend this hotel, as they don't care about their guest, just their money :(

The room: + small like expected (we got studio), but very comfortable - big wardrobes, small shelves. + very spacious bathroom - with a shower and a bath + very big and nice balcony + everything is clean and brand new + coffee and tee maker in the room + minibar with drinks - despite the description that the room has 'fully equipped kitchen' we got just coffee/tee maker and small minibar fridge. That was not important for us so we did not ask for another room, but still a bit disappointed to find the room different from the description -+ we are not sure if the 'warm floor' system was working in our room, because floor was warm only in the toilet. Anyways, it was warm enough in the room :) Ski room: + warm lockers (1 per room) for ski/snowboard equipment - the locker is extremely small - it was really hard to put inside 2 snowboards and boots Breakfast: + very nice: small buffet with fresh vegetables, fresh fruit juices, eggs bar - ladies were cooking fresh omelet, scrambled eggs or sunny-side-up eggs. Variety of tee and coffee. - no lactose-free and/or soya milk for coffee -/+ not really a minus for us, but there were not much of the vegan/vegetarian options. So if this is important for you - I would recommend to double-check this Ski-shuttle: we did not have a chance to use it, but just to mention - the shuttle is only within Kaprun - Kitzsteinhorn or Maiskogel.
