    Convenient location, quality facilities, and an excellent view. Overall, everything was exceptional except for the customer service. During the initial check‑in process around 8:30 p.m. on 19 August, one staff member was notably rude, condescending, and indifferent. This was the younger, shorter gentleman positioned in the middle section of the front desk. While I fully understand that there may have been a miscommunication between Agoda and the hotel’s reservations team, and that the front desk may not have been directly responsible for the issue, what was deeply disappointing was the attitude and level of service we received—especially from a hotel such as Hilton. Rather than making us feel comfortable and welcome while trying to help resolve the situation, he simply told me to contact Agoda and refused to check us in until the issue was settled. When I asked which Agoda number I should call, he looked at me in a condescending manner and said he did not know, then told me to “ask ChatGPT or something.” That was the extent of the assistance offered. What made the experience particularly upsetting was that I was travelling with my 80-year-old father-in-law and my mother-in-law. They had travelled a long way, were exhausted, and had arrived with great excitement to perform Umrah for the first time in their lives. At a moment that should have felt welcoming and meaningful for our family, his attitude completely undermined that feeling. The reservation issue itself could have been resolved. What was unacceptable was the lack of empathy, professionalism, and basic hospitality in the way we were treated.
