Wonderful stay! The hotel is stunning inside, the spiral staircase is truly a work of art. Our room was quiet, comfortable and relaxing. We never heard any other guests, but we do know there was people there…so very quiet! It’s a prime location for the water bus Tre Archi stop (maybe 20 steps to the front door). It was great not having to haul our luggage through the confusion streets of Venice! Tre Archi takes you right to Venezia Santa Lucia train station for easy arrival and departure from Venice. We stayed two nights and are truly in awe of how incredible Venice is. Our canal view room at this incredible hotel made our trip perfect!

Front desk staff was very helpful and welcoming. The hotel is charming and in a very convenient location. Easy to get to main areas, but not noisy. The canal view is gorgeous. Rooms were spacious and very clean. A wonderful experience!

Right on the canal. Close to some great food options. East walk to shops. Close to the airport ferry. One note: since it is close to the ferry station, there is boat noise, at least on the ground floor. But its to be expected. Would highly recommend and definitely go back!

This was a fantastic option to stay in Venice. Close to local restaurants and loads of access to Venice. Our host was lovely and accommodating, made us feel at home. The room was spacious and clean too. Would stay again!

Wonderful stay! Checking in before we left the US alleviated a ton of stress! Super easy to get in! Beautiful canal view and good restaurants a few paces from the hotel. Easy direct walk to the train station. Very clean. Excellent water pressure. Water was super hot. Bed was very comfortable. Will gladly stay there again!

Location is great, other than that nothing great about the property. Close to a vapareto stop which is very convenient. However I will not stay at this place again. We stayed in the family room, where the bathroom had molds all around the shower, soap in the sink was watered down. Room was ok, and view from room was great. Check time ends at 7pm, I talked to the owner confirming we will be there by 7pm, and will call if we are late. After being on the road for 24 hours, we arrive and find no one to receive us. Called the owner who gave us code to get in the building and we waited for 3 hours. The code should have been emailed to us, but it wasn't. The owner does not care about the guest. Only stay there if you want the view or stay away from this place.

Location and the view is good with this property. But the staff was kind of shady as they would only accept cash (and no changes available), without issusing any receipts. Basically it is a self service hostel since it is family operated and just a place to stay at night during our visit in Venice.

It was a great location, easy to find but not in the noisiest part of the city. A bit of a walk from the train station but convenient to the vaporoso (water bus).Roomy bedroom and peculiar but roomy (unattached but private) bathroom. It provided a great sense of place.

Marina was very welcoming and accommodating. The location is right in front of a Vaporeto stop on the Canaregio canal and about 12 minute walk from Venice Santa Lucia Train station. It’s just blowing air like a fan, not cold air during a scorching hot summer day. We were afraid to open the window for fear of mosquito. There’s a lot of Bars and restaurant around the area. Seafood is Venice’s specialty. From this B&B, it’s a 40 minute walk to St. Mark Square, it’s best to take the Vaporetto (boat taxi=€7.50) but it also takes 40 minutes to get there. Check out is 10AM but they allowed us to leave our luggage so that we can find lunch and catch our next train at 2:55PM. Over all, I will definitely return to stay at My Friend Venice. Thanks for a very pleasant accommodation!!!

The place is amazing!It is right on the grand canal. Your room window opens with a view of the canal. The pictures on the website don't do justice to the place. We loved our stay. Perfect location! The accommodation was terrible! No hot water first night as the boiler was not turned on, noone showed up during our entire stay at the property, we found a dirty white shirt under the linen, there was a cm of dust on the floor, the shower and toilets (that were outside the room) were in terrible conditions (see photos), in front of the window every morning people were passing with their luggagea on the stony pathway, the internet was very week or non existant, we had to leave money for tourist tax on the bed and no receipt was provided to us, and more and more I could add to the list. With my girlfriend we wanted to call the owner to get the money refunded or give us another accommodation, but there was no contact of the owner. Unfortunately we rated it only now as although being a gold hotels.com member, I have noticed just now (online) that there’s this option to review (booked almost always via the app). Just look at the attached photos - disclaimer: some people may vommit in our place

Location is great, on the canal right by the Tre Archi vaporetto stop. Lots of restaurants viewed from our windows (our room had 2). Lots of hot water and comfortable beds. Only challenge was trying to take a shower with the hand held faucet. A great bargain place for Venezia! Would stay there again!
