We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The rooms were clean and felt fresh, and the recent remodel really shows — everything was modern and comfortable. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, making check-in and our entire visit a breeze. Highly recommend this property for anyone visiting the Dayton/Vandalia area!

Front Desk Personnel's ability to clearly communicate was a major issue at check-in. Hallway smelled like a mixture of curry & sewage on the floor booked. For the price of the room; the room was small, was not maintained, and lacked several amenities. Overall, the accommodations are the same level as a 70's Motel that's had lipstick slapped on it.

Room and public area was clean. Bed and pillows were comfortable. We dropped our son’s blankie when we checked out. When I called the hotel Ashley answered and without a second of hesitation asked the room number and where we were parked, she put me on hold and found it immediately! She went above and beyond. It was as folded behind the desk with my name on it. Thank you Ashley! You saved the day!

We checked in late and not already having a sheet on the pull out bed was frustrating. When asked for a sheet the front desk informed us they are being washed and wont be ready until 2am. I cant wait that long to put an 8 year old to bed. Also, not allowing a late checkout because we used a 3rd party site to book the hotel makes no sense.

Knowing that a baseball teams will be staying for the week and u have no washer and dryers that they are broke.. house keeping left towels and sheets on the floor of the room when they came in to do the rooms.. didn’t make the beds but made sure to take their tip…. Not worth the nearly 600 for 3 nights worth it.. if u have a baseball team

we had two room and neither had blankets or pillows for the pull out beds, then we called to ask and 30 min later still did not have them so we had to go down to get them. My son went to the pool in the evening and the following morning and neither time were there towels in the pool area. At 9:30 am i heard a lady walking down the hall knowing on every door saying house cleaning. i opened the door and she said she checks the rooms ahead of time for house cleaning even though check out isn’t til noon. It was a long night and it woke me up. The rooms themselves were clean which i appreciate but don’t expect actual service or the simple expectations of a decent hotel.

This trip was a real fiasco, but the staff at Springhill Suites made things so much easier. Everyone was so so kind, and very helpful. Any issue I had, including extending my stay and forgetting an article of clothing, everything was well and considerately handled by staff. The rooms were clean and spacious, I truly felt like I was in a calm environment where I could just relax after a stressful day. The bartender was super friendly and knowledgeable about the area, the cleaning staff were so hospitable, honestly I’ve never been to a hotel with such amazing staff. They should be really proud of their team.

Ran down property. Literally falling apart. Room was dirty, tables in room dirty, old furniture and dirt on carpet, stained towels, scratched walls on the halls. Never again. On top of that the bathroom wooden frame door fell on my head injuring me. Horrible stay. Should have known when at check in they handed me the extra towels and bedding I asked for instead of taking them to my room. We had to go up juggling suitcases, towels and bedding. No customer service at all.
