Decent sized room, but getting into the room via the keypad was rather annoying as it seemed rather temperamental. I was also staying at a time where there was no staff in the building available to help me if I needed it.

Before I book this hotel, I noted that someone has commented the door lock is malfunctioned sometimes. Badly, I have also assigned an room with a broken door lock and always locked myself outside the room. The worst is there is never hostel staff stationed at the hotel, I can only seek help from hotels.com and contact for the hotel for the malfunctioned lock. The staff came quickly and fixed, however, it happened again after the staff left. It destroyed my holiday in Finland by spending my time on the door lock testing. I will never stay there again even there is the only hotel in Helsinki.

+Good price + Have everything you need + Clean showers and toilettes + Grocery stores nearby + Bus station nearby - Dirty room, so much dust that you got allergic reactions... had to open the window to breathe properly. Dark hair everywhere in the bed and so on, maybe they should vacumclean them between guests. Happy I had a roller with me. - Bad ventilation.

No iron was available for shirts although mentioned in the details. WiFi a bit slow & unstable. Bed very basic and small. Otherwise good value for money with a convenient location.

Forenom should have sent SMS about door code at 16:00 but I didn't got it, I had to call to their number to get it. In the room there are linen but you must put it by yourself to the bed, blanket and pillow. There is now own shower or toilet in the room. On the corridor there are two toilets and showers for common use. There is no restaurant or reception in the building. However places were clean.

A nice place, nice people living there full time (about half of the rooms). I came in the summer, it was sunny and very hot on the room, above 30°C for sure, I’m gessing 32°C. Employees at the adress a few hours in the morning, the most of the day you’re on your own, and that wasn’t a problem for me. The regular price require you to wipe the tables, do the bed, vacuum clean the floor and bring out the garbage (outside, around two corners to the right), took me about 5 minutes.

Ensure you have the door codes before you leave. They are sent to you via email but I didnt receive mine, which made things a bit tricky as I landed at 2am. The 24 helpline people were excellent though.The area is really well serviced by a direct bus to Helsinki centre and the hostel itself was immaculately clean.
