The place was great, cozy and clean, and the staff was very polite and super helpful. The location was also great as there is a 7/11 right a cross the road. And a Mother Marché 100 meters away.. Overall i will rate this place 5 stars out of 5 :)

I get it, it’s Thailand, but this was hotel 5 on our trip and the worst, little bugs all over the floor, stained towels, and bedding, a/c installed wrong direction so it was hot in the room, 0 shower pressure, imagine a veggie mist at the super market. We thought we were far enough away from the temple speakers but nope, got worked up every time by the wailing of the speakers. Workers were never around. Hotel next door was nice tho, rented us scooters and we headed out every day. No hand soap, just shampoo.

What a lovely hotel, Soranda and family are amazing hosts. Soranda was very helpful in booking tours and transport off the islands. She even cane out to send us off. The balcony rooms are facing a busy street, we stayed an extra night and had a room at the back of the hotel much quieter. One block away there is an amazing restaurant called The Kitchen, best Thia food as of yet. Family run restaurant, mother is elderly and main cook in the kitchen, Her two sons and Dil are the servers. We would definitely stay again

Amazing family atmosphere. Definitely the cleanest place we have seen in Thailand. You can't help liking the place from the moment you step in. Staff very friendly and helpful. Just mind that this is a small, family run place so don't expect anything over the top or swimming pool (with the beach just around the corner who would care anyway). Pictures of the hotel don't lie - its absolutely lovely inside. Plus there's a fabulous ice coffee in a small bistro attached to the hotel.

We went for snorkeling trips around Lanta. The room was sparklingly clean every day we got back. Towel and accessories were changed daily. Even our clothing were carefully put away. The guitar, piano and the cat Elsa were all lovely. The hosts were very kind to offer us helpful tips on local food and entertainment.

Great location close to Long Beach. Nice little rooms with friendly staff is all you need if you want to safe and clean place to stay. Less than a 3 minute walk onto the beach with plenty of beachfront restaurants/lounges to choose from. I would stay here again!

Spent two out of our 4 nights in Koh Lanta in this hotel. My better half couldn't live with the noise coming from the main road, which wouldn't be an issue for budget travel or if you have a tight sleep. All in all - this place seems fresh, stands for sustainability and has great everything except for being on the main road. Helpfull with bookings of trips etc. To have windows away from street is a luxury - i figured it's only 3 rooms in whole hotel that has it, be aware of ones without windows. Similar situation is for many hotels around main road - they might seem resort-like, but unless you take a luxury bungalow on the beach for tripple the price, you will have windows towards the main road. In that case - why not pick this, where everything else is just great. Lady at reception is amazing, you get metal bottles with unlimited drinking water supply, rooms are clean, beds firm, showers quiet and great so as airCon. And the breakfast... one of the best in Thai. you get to pick each item of your breakfast (egg, bacon, type of bread, everything you like) plus a really good coffee. Big thumbs up!!!!

Such an amazing experience! This property is just steps to the beach and is staffed by some great people. Upon check-in I was easily able to rent a moped from the front desk for two days. Which I used to explore the whole island. Every time I came in or out of the property I was kindly greeted, which made it feel like home. My favorite story from whole trip was tied into my stay @ Lanta. On my final day I had scheduled a bus ride to the Krabi airport with the hotel owner. It was getting past the time the bus was scheduled to arrive and she was getting worried. She ended up having one of her friends drive me all the way to the airport for no additional charge. The airport is about 2 hours away in the private vehicle. It turns out I had left my GoPro in the back seat of the car. The friend that drove me must have discovered this after dropping me off & they managed to somehow get the camera to me at my gate at the airport. Unbelievable service all around. I couldn't recommend more.

Absolutely loved my stay here. The owner and the staff are all soooo friendly and welcoming. When they say Lanta at Home they mean it. Any advice or help woth trips or transfer or anything was not too much to ask. Not only that they are really focused on being eco friendly by giving you a reusable water bottle and shopping/beach bag for you stay (you can take these away with you at a small cost...I still have my water bottle I love it!) Also in return for not having a room cleaning service every day they offer you a voucher for a free tea or coffee (proper coffee) at the cafe downstairs (1day no cleaning=1 voucher). Honestly who needs their room cleaned and fresh towels every day, you probably wouldn't at home (I mean let's be clear you can if you want to). I would 100% recommend this place!

I could NOT fault this small family run hotel, I had a problem, my glasses broke and I asked the staff to help me, and to my surprise they had them fixed free of charge, the room was very well appointed, comfortable bed, English speaking television, spotlessly clean and very well maintained, the room had a nice balcony, the staff were very friendly to me, they organised my ongoing travel, there is a piano in reception and many guests were playing, which was nice, they had lots of little homely touches, that you don’t usually see in hotels, it was far enough away from the pier and the built up areas noise, but only a short trip to the pier in a car, overall it was a really nice experience, the wifi was good too, I’ll be back

We had a nice stay at Lanta@Home. The room was simple, but looked new and very clean. First night was a bit noisy from the street traffic, but hotel staff moved us into another room immediately after we mentioned it.

By reading the reviews I expected a very warm behaviour from the owner. She is polite, nothing more. We had to actually pay to use a beach towel and external phone calls are also not free as usual (for example to call a taxi or a restaurant). Weird! Still, we spent here 1 night only (2 adults and 1 child) and the overall experience was ok. The room was nice and clean and the rental cheap compared to any resort. The area is also nice, the beach is just behind the corner and night markets 20 min walking distance that is nice. The only negative thing is that our room faced the street and the sounds from cars and motorbike at night can be challenging for people with a light sleep.
