Residence Inn Ann Arbor Downtown

I only stayed one night, but all of the staff were excellent- consistently helpful and ready to answer any questions. The valet parking was so convenient and easy to pay for via a link sent to my phone- it made it easy and I didn't even have to download or sign up for anything. The facilities looked like they were all in good shape, the room was bigger than I needed. I was disappointed that the bathtub was very small and shallow (considering the room name mentioned the tub, I'd been hoping for a nice soak, but oh well, no big deal). The only thing I was truly disappointed in was that there is no room service available at all. I'd have stopped for food or brought something with me if I had known, but I guess I shouldn't have assumed. The mattress was the least firm mattress I've ever experienced in a hotel, which was a surprise but not a bother for me, though other people might strongly dislike that. There's construction happening on the road in front of the hotel which isn't the hotel's fault, but it did make the valet process slower than it probably normally is, and I could hear the construction noises in the morning, but again, no big deal. Overall, I had an excellent stay. I appreciated the staff, and the location is nice- within walking distance of the music venue I came to Ann Arbor for, as well as plenty of bars/nightlife, and a farmers market/market shops for the AM. If I ever come back to the area, I would very likely stay again!

The property is convenient for downtown Ann Arbor walkable access. The rooms have well supplied kitchenettes.
