Leaking ceiling in washroom and very loud building. Doors slamming all hours of the night and sounded like a party in one of the other units. Property a decent walk from most restaurants and sites in Venice.

+ easy check-in and check-out! Very nice that everything is accessible with codes + luggage storage + great location + good communication - cold in the apartment (although we were told the temperature is set by Italian law and could not be increased) - faucet in kitchen was not working properly - it would be nice if small things such as salt, sugar and oil are provided in the apartment

I was rather concerned about the practice that the access code for the lock is sent out only at 3pm on the arrival day; for travelers without cellular service in Italy that is a worry, but we had wifi on the train, so everything worked out well. We came with the vaporetto, five minutes walking from the station: no problem. The apartment looks better from inside than outside; indeed it is a very nice and modern apartment, just what we needed for our three children. Everything in Venice is walkable, one needs to explore a bit, but there is a supermarket in 10-15min distance, as well as various restaurants. It is a bit out of the tourist zone, so a bit quieter, but the tourist places are in easy walking distance. We will be happy to use this apartment again, if we come again to Venice.

All-in-all a very nice place to stay and for us, we loved that it was a bit away from the more popular areas thus keeping it quiet but close enough to everything.

Family of 6 (2 adults and 4 children) stayed here. Excellent base for exploration of San Marco and other nearby attractions. Bit of a hike from the train station but the vapretto was our friend. Apartment surrounds very very quiet with only 1 cafe in immediate vicinity but it’s all there once you cross the grand canal. Apartment very clean and comfortable (but how about a few hooks to hang up towels or coats). Recommended!

The location was perfect! The check in was easy and very helpful providing maps. The house had everything we needed for our family of 4 and our favourite stay during our week travels across Italy .

A delightful property with plenty of room for our group! Very clean and comfortable. It was incredibly nice to return "home" for the night to a quieter neighborhood for sleep, and still be close to everything, just two blocks from a Vaporetto stop.

Was good to have kitchen facilities. Single beds were so so, sheets quite coarse fabric. Rooms were minuscule Good situation. Check in was a hassle. You could only get into the shower if you stepped in sideways with both doors open. Moved to hotel last night and was so much more comfortable and only slightly more expensive, also better situated on Grand Canal

i really don’t recommend this hotel. I really don’t like this apartment. In the evening, the near apartment station will be closed. Then , we need to take off by the water bus in the early station . Also , in the evening, there is so noisy place. Someone will knock the window. Also , even someone walk in the outside, we also heard it. The apartment all facilities is bad.

This didn’t start off well at all. Got to the house and climbed all the way to the top floor where we were not suppose to be. Got in and the room was a lie. I believe what happen is someone booked this room complained about it and they gave them our room because when we were leaving we got to see the room we were suppose to have. So anyway we walk to the door and the door is cracked. You can see into the apartment. We walk in the floor is so cracked the closet that they added what looked like a roll away bed in the door wouldn’t shut. The bed had a purple stain on it longer and wider than my hand. The living room couch had nasty stains all over it that non of us would even sit on. The other tiny bed that was a roll away bed also had nasty stains all over it. The kitchen door would not open all the way because of the counter top. We got to the master bedroom and it was a great size but there was a used shot glass that still had liquor in it and pistachio shells all over the place. 17 mosquitos that we had to kill and this whole time I am on the phone with them about how nasty this place was and I refused to stay in it and that it did not match the pictures or discription at all!! I do have pictures to back all this up if you would like proof. The place did not have a view at all from any window! Most of them where a brick wall!!! So talking to these people they were so rude. Told me I was not getting my money back and they did not care. I made them let me talk to the owner which she said I had the right room and I explained I did not because it was suppose to have two large bedrooms and it was nasty. She called me a liar and hung up on me. I had to call back 4 times and this took 5 hours of arguing and they would not give me my money back for both days!! Like I said this place was riddled with bugs and was disgusting. If I could have given it 0 stars I for sure would have!even after sending them pictures to prove how terrible this place was they did not care. By the time I got off the phone it was 1am their time. I could not find another hotel. NONE OF US SLEPT! It was so nasty we pretty much waiting for a little bit of sunlight and left. Thry did offer me another room but would not let us look at it. After what we got I was not taking another chance. They would only refund me for one night and that was it. I do have proof of pictures.

There werent enough pillows for the number of people we were paying for. The kitchen was poorly fitted out and the 3pm check in was too late. I didnt like having to check in at an entirely different location to the accommodation - we had to drag our bags around for hours.

This property was gorgeous and absolutely one of our favorites; would totally return. It had lots of room (we had 7 of us-parents, grandparents, kids-8, 11, 14) and we had lots of space to sleep and hang out. The bathrooms were great. The washing machine, as an American, was a little tricky to operate (no printed directions) and took 3-4 hours to complete a cycle (without drying) and you will need to purchase your own detergent; we ended up going to a laundromat and doing it all at once. Using water taxis, this was very accessible and definitely a place that we would return to. Check the info that comes after you reserve as you check in with Pleuwy, a management company, since we missed that detail and wandered around for 10-15 minutes looking for office. Overall a great location and highly recommend for a Venice stay, especially with a group or family.

We booked in here but were asked to move to another of their hotels as the last guest didn’t leave. This is not what we booked so was not impressed to be moved. The other hotel was close by, but we don’t know what we missed as far as cleaned and convince is concerned. Staff were helpful.

The location is on dorsoduro and the check in is at the entrance to Venice which meant walking with your luggage everywhere but other than that great value and a clean space

should have microwave,tv in bedroom,screen in windows, had problem with internet check-in done around 11.00 am that time we paid 36 euro (too much) for delivery of luggage (2 big 23kg each & 2 small 5kg each) and we have them around 5 pm after 2 calls done

The photos of the Accademia Charm Apartments are a bit misleading. The apartment we were given for 2 people was tiny, with a double bed, bathroom and small kitchen all essentially squeezed in, on the ground floor. Doors and walls are thin meaning you hear everyone else coming in and out. Heating didn't work and so was cold and the hot water ran out quickly for showering. Check in is located 25 mins walk, or about 45 mins on the water bus away which was less than convenient. Overall location is great, next to Salute waterboat stop, one away from the main square. Interior is nice enough however. Left feeling a bit short changed. Picture 23&48 is the entirety of the apartment we had. Just adequate if your only sleeping but would recommend you book a proper hotel.

The rooftop deck is amazing with views of some buildings on the Grand Canal all the way over to the Giudecca Canal and Island. Our clock was on Salute's bell tower! However, the shutters were out of alignment and very difficult to open and close in the bedroom, meaning you either had no natural light or no privacy without a struggle with shutters. The sofa was flaking pleather (?), the bathroom door didn't latch, the toilet and shower were a step up -- hazardous getting in and out of the shower. There are 53 steep steps to the apartment. But worst were the unannounced workman visits. The first occurred about a week into our stay when a bunch of guys showed up to install an air conditioner on the roof -- in January. Since all our stuff was there and there was no safe, I had to stay behind from the day's activities to mind the apartment. The workmen were there ALL DAY, except for the one or two hours they were gone for lunch -- I couldn't do anything then because I didn't know if they were going to be gone one or two hours, so I spent the second hour just waiting. They tromped up and down the stairs through the loft bedroom and out onto the roof deck leaving a trail of debris in their wake well into the afternoon. About a week after that, four guys show up -- again unannounced -- to look at the bathroom and talk about remodeling it. Yep, it sure needs it, but after all the fuss I made about the first unannounced visit by workmen, you'd think I'd get a text at least

The apartment was easy to check into with helpful staff, right near the train station. Then to get to the apartment its a beautiful 20 minute boat ride down the grand canal. Nice and quiet location but close to everything.

Our stay was great. We were met by a member of the staff, at the designated location. She was right in time, and very friendly and helpful. The apartment was clean and nicely stocked with cooking equipment, and a supply of breakfast food, and water. The wifi worked. There were plenty of extra sheets, pillows and blankets. A great experience.

They also have the best towels and sheet I ever had in all my years of traveling. The only draw back was the hotel changed the time to meet and get the keys without my acknowledgement. Had I not had a cell phone with me, we would of been homeless. Thankfully it all got worked out at the end.

Expensive let but no glasses, broken hairdryer, no mirrors, loo roll and poor maintenance with leaking air conditioning. Able to call maintenance company to repair but why am I doing that on my time - why not inspected? Very difficult to arrange access at start of let. NO RESPONSE to requests for contact and left waiting over 5 hours with luggage awaiting check in.

We were not happy about our stay as we had booked for three people and we had one queen bed and a couch not a double sofa as advertised, when making the couch we discovered the blanket was dirty. Also there werent any glasses to drink from and hardly and cutlery to eat with. We contacted the people in charge but nobody returned our messages.

We were completely mis sold this apartment through Expedia. The photos showed a roof terrace which it did not have. When we queried this at check in we were told that the apartment with the roof terrace was the one across the hall and that the photos shouldnt have been on there when we booked this specific apartment. We got the impression we were not the first people to query this and the girl at check in couldn't have given a toss really.All very misleading and disappointing however the apartment was clean and the location was good so we made the most of it.
