Very friendly staff, room was very clean & beds exceptionally comfortable. We had a couple of meals in the restaurant, these were of the highest quality and thoroughly enjoyed! The breakfasts were also high quality food served by pleasant staff. It was a pleasure to stay there plus enjoyed meeting the 3 dogs! Would definitely recommend & will look forward to a return visit.

The facilities were of a decent standard and the food was good. Neither are worth what is charged, however, and at times I felt more like a transaction than a guest - indeed was ignored at times in favour of a larger party of four. Great service from the younger member of staff though. Lots of rules (which will no doubt be defended). Good location. Final tip: caveat emptor - you may be told at checkout that you could have spent £30 less per night and got free breakfast (rather than £17.50 each).

We had a wondefful stay in this Boutique Hotel! We had an evening meal which was delicious. Breakfast was also very good. The Hotel is a short walk to the beach and town centre so a good location. The owners were very friendly and it was great to learn the history of the hotel. Would stay again.

We recently had a short, midweek break which was most enjoyable. Whilst the hotel was quite quiet, the service was first class. Our room and the public areas are beautifully decorated and very clean. The food, particularly the breakfasts, was excellent and highly recommended.

We stayed in the hippodrome room, which was more like a suite. Lovely and spacious with lovely furnishings and decor. Absolutely stunning hotel. Immaculate in every way. Comfortable bed with beautifully clean, crisp bedding. Fluffy white towels. Staff lovely and friendly. Last but not least is the breakfast. They offer a fabulous menu choice and it was just delicious! Very highly recommended

After looking at the wonderful rooms available on-line at The Burlington we booked for a two night stay. On arrival we were given a very small room overlooking building work and the accompanying noise of cutting and drilling. At £330 my wife and I felt it was rather expensive for the single bedded room. It was our first trip to Norfolk for our 54th. wedding anniversary and thus we were disappointed but on an upbeat the breakfast was excellent.

Extremely well-run by Sally and Joanna with help from the always pleasant Sophie and Matt.Fantastic position near to the beach with an easy walk in to Sheringham town centre and railway station. Delicious breakfast menu and beautiful relaxing garden bar to enjoy a glass of wine or cocktail .Room spotlessly clean and spacious. We loved our stay and hope to be back .

This excellent, hotel, only a couple of minutes from the beach, has excellent facilities; very friendly, professional staff; a very clean, well prepared room; and offers superb breakfast and an evening meal on a saturday evening or sunday afternoon. The staff have lots of knowledge about the area around Sheringham, and can offer many suggestions and ideas regarding places to visit. Each room has a unique name attached to it, the importance being that it is associated with the entertainment industry. Located at specific places around the staircases of the hotel are book shelves containing a variety of books from various catagories. Nearby there are sofas on which to use for reading etc. My particular room had lots of space, all the usual facilities, plus excellent views of the nearby hill side, and view of the sea. There is an excellent choice of food to suit many requirements, and the kitchen is open plan to enable guests to see the food being prepared and cooked. It's the best seaside hotel I have stayed in so far, and highly recommend it.

From check in to check out the level of service was superb. All members of staff were friendly, very helpful and pleasant. The facilities in the room were of a high quality and well maintained. Due to a last minute change of plans we requested an evening meal and a table was booked for us at an agreed time. We were so glad we ate in as the food was superb, extremely well presented and very tasty. Once again the staff ensured we had an enjoyable experiene. We took advantage of the garden gin bar and would highly recommend the cocktails.

Excellent hotel, clean, comfortable had all amenities necessary for our stay. Had lovely little touches like large cups in the room for your tea and coffee, a little jar of sweets and enough power points for charging all the gadgets! Would highly recomend them.

We had a lovely stay at Burlington Berties. Can't fault it for location, 3 mins from the beach. The food was excellent, prepared fresh and served by lovely staff. The whole hotel is tasteful with a hint of fun and quirky. Beds comfy, rooms surprisingly big ( Shaftsbury suite) and lots of hot water for showers. What more could you want? Will no doubt be back. :-)
