Let me say that this is supposed to be celebrating 28th wedding anniversary. First night after coming back from dinner... we wanted to relax but unfortunately we could not open the screen door to our balcony. They wanted to have maintenance come in & fix it.... really? Its late at night and we wanted to relax. So they moved us to the empty room next door. We got settled in... everything seemed fine until we noticed that the AC was not working. Had to open the sliding door to get some cool breeze but couldn't leave it open cause we were on the first floor and open to the street. Again, they moved us to another room. Got there... the room was pleasant. We finally got to rest a little bit. Got breakfast, walked along the beach then got ready for our couples massage. After our massage got back to our room & I swear... the room smelled like rotten eggs. It was coming from the ac unit. We were livid at this time. Had their maintenance guy come up & said there was a smell so they had to move us again!!! At this point we were just like... let's get dinner & sleep it off. This was not the romantic getaway we were expecting to have... moving from room to room. We moved 4 times. We were not satisfied with the services provided to us at all. All I have to say... Cape Rey please do better.

staff had me down for one night not 2, wanted to charge me $80 for 2 nights parking which was later waived after some unpleasant discussion. I claimed this was a fee they claimed it was an "incidental". Is "what you see is what you pay"?? this is why I no longer visit Las Vegas

Pool The pool itself was awesome but there were no towels and the pool bathroom didn’t have toilet paper. There was also no waiter service at the pool which would have been nice, especially with kids.

Staff was very helpful and polite. Building and grounds were well maintained. Walking distance to beach. Our room had a balcony facing the interior so we had a view of the pool and a view of the ocean. I like that we can checkout at noon.

Parking at this 'resort' is ridiculous. Hardly any handicap parking. Walking from the parking lot through the hotel to find the lobby was horrible. At check in, she point to a direction and said your room is that way. Need better clarification on a $38 nightly resort fee. The room took forever to cool down. Not enough seating at the pool VS the amount of people.

Nice hotel and beautiful surroundings. Bed was super comfortable and room was dark. First off thing was the front desk not answering. Super weird for it to just ring and ring after multiple attempts. Then same thing happened when calling for room service the next day. No answer, called front desk, called again over a span of 20 minutes to be told room service didn’t start again until 5pm-we were calling for lunch. We then had to call the front desk in the middle of the night for noise next door. Loud music and screaming singing. After getting very little sleep we then found that coffee cups had not been restocked in the room. No bed side charging plugs for convenience and the plugs in the lamps did not work. It’s just the little things that add up to a not so great experience. We don’t often stay at Hilton so maybe these things aren’t important but didn’t add to our list for not wanting to return.

The first room we were placed in faced a parking lot, we were moved to a room on the 3rd floor that was ADA and felt musty and old, the bathroom needed a DEEP cleaning, there was trash/room service food left outside of doors way too long, felt like they were understaffed.

5 star service from the staff! Chandler's restaurant had the most amazing truffle fries- delicious! The Corner King Suite was perfect for watching the sunset! The 2 room suite was well appointed and spacious. The bathroom was very large with a tremendous soaking tub with all the amenities. Book the King Suite and treat yourself!

We had a nice time.. Hotel grounds were smaller than the picture showed. Our room with ocean view had busy traffic just below so it wasn’t pleasant noise wise with balcony or leaving room patio door open. The staff .. for pool grounds and restaurant were a 5 star!! Happy hour from 4-6:00each day was great.
