    Due to Brugge being very expensive, this is the best choice for the price offered.

    So we have a two night stay in ibis . They have very limited options , the scrambled eggs were like sand . They just have breads, cheese, ham, and some yogurt and cornflakes

    The location is good, close to the station. But the facilities were quite limited and the room was too small. Although it is budget hotel, we think that they should think also about the layout of the room especially the shower. The shower was very small and so slippy. And washroom have no proper door just like a sheet and have no cleaning brush.

    This hotel is great if you are looking for a convenient location that is close to the train station and main sights. It is, however, difficult to get to. You need to navigate multiple steps and lifts that do not work. A lot more thought can be put into improving this aspect of the hotel. The room is badly designed and feels more like a converted hostel room. Heads up to international travellers - there is no space to open your luggage. I had problems finding space to open my one mid-sized luggage. Hotel rooms in Hong Kong are instructive in this regard. They do a much better job organising space than what I had to deal with @ Brugge. Further food for thought... the staff manning the Reception leaves much to be desired. The staff member I had to deal with was dismissive and condescending when I asked for hot water. In contrast, the Ibis staff @ Gent-Dampoort were much friendlier and respectful of this request.
