The hotel is excellent value for the price. It is very well located, close to a great many attractions and to the Metro.
The staff were friendly and helpful with 24 hour reception service. The room was clean and comfortable.
Our room was on the third floor and the lift access is from the 2nd floor to the 3rd rather than from the ground floor. We used the stairs after our arrival as it was simpler and we're mobile enough for it not to be a big issue.

AC was amazingly quiet. Room had magnificent view outside my window. But bathroom was very old fashioned and the hotel is old but it was a good experience

Great staff, very friendly, sincere & helpful. The metro was a three minute walk from the hotel.
Plenty of shopping nearby.
The street performers were exceptional!
The Balhao market was tremendous. The culinary options were very varied. The crafts on offer, were magnificent too.
