Travel & Live Hostel

The hostel has an excellent location in a vivid street full of nice shops and cafés. It is a pedestrian street without cars, so there are no traffic noises and at night it is also rather calm. The staff is very friendly and attentive and the bathrooms (several on every floor) are very clean. There is a common kitchen with stove and fridge that can be used.

The furniture in the single room is a bit worn-out, but still serves it‘s purpose. During my stay in May it was already a bit hot in the room, so in summer it could be even hotter, since there is no air condition. The equipment for cooking in the kitchen is a bit basic and the coating of the pans was already scraped off.

The common areas were amazing and all of them had cool and cozy vibes! I also found the location convenient - since it is very much in the centre - which made it quite easy to find my way around. Bonus that the guy at the reception was friendly and patient: he was just about to leave when I got there but he still took the time to lead me through the necessary information about the property. Thank you again :)

Due to the central location, the room was a little noisy for a while at night. Also, the room was okay and the mattresses comfortable, however, the bunk beds' frames were not the most sturdy ones so I felt a little unsteady climbing up/down.

The staff and facility were great. The hostel is near to the big market in Porto which was a great place to get food to cook for dinner!

Our room was on the street and there are a couple of restaurants and bars on the street. There were singers singing outside on the street for the amusement of the restaurant/bar clients until about 11:00 p.m.
