2 nights before island hopping with my wife. Room was old fashioned with old brown furry carpet. Very noisy during the night with shouting and loud music until 4am. Breakfast was ok and great view of beach and sea.

The property has an amazing view and location. Parking is limited and our room was not accurately depicted on the website. The room I booked was supposed to be bright, beautiful, modern and king size bed. What we got was dark, dated and two side by side twin mattresses. The view made our stay worth it and the free breakfast was nice. Perhaps the room pictures should be updated so they are an accurate reflection of what you are booking? Gorgeous area and we enjoyed walking the promenade. Very kind staff.

We moved the pool and beach. All the front desk staff were so friendly and helpful. We went to the restaurant once and it felt like we were just an inconvenience to the wait staff. We asked them for ice in a wine bucket, it was like we were bothering them even though we needed to pay for this. The staff need some training in dealing with people. Very unfriendly and slow. We never ate there once. Instead had all our meals and drinks at the beach bar next door which was incredible. Great service, food and drinks.

We booked a “deluxe sea facing room with balcony” but when we checked in, they put us in room 42, which doesn’t have a balcony. It did have panoramic views across the beaches, so in that sense it was an upgrade. However, in the course of our stay we glanced into other rooms in that block, and they were more recently decorated and quite modern, with warm tones. Our room was clinical white and black and grey, and felt quite 2004. The curtains were badly fitted, and the bedside light would not turn off at all. We ended up taking the bulb out. The air conditioning unit rattled so loudly that we had to fashion a repair with some bunched-up tissue paper. The only shower is over the bath, and the shower head wouldn’t stay at the top of the pole (kept sliding down to shoulder height). We complained two days running but nothing happened so we strapped a waterproof plaster around the top of the pole to stop it sliding down. In the end, maintenance did visit and simply put more tape around our plaster rather than just tightening the screw. The tv didn’t get any internet signal, therefore there was no tv at all. They fixed that after two/three days. The restaurant serves a buffet breakfast but very poorly done. Not only was the orange juice not freshly squeezed, it wasn’t even out of a carton. It was orange squash (cordial). For what we paid per night (£260), I deeply resented paying the hotel an extra €13 a day for one umbrella to use on the hotel’s private beach.

Amazing view and location, great service, the rooms were very clean and spacious. The options to go to the center of Split should be improved, as there was only one road to get to the center and back, and traffic jams were frequent (depending on the time of day).

Great property with great facilities. Location is good, quiet and away from the centre however this is easily accessible by bus or taxi. Not loads around the area but shops and a few restaurants. Beach is great although very disappointing that there is a charge for parasols as this is not stated in the booking or property details. Pool great and rooms great. Breakfast OK, could be more choice of cooked goods. Staff great - friendly and helpful

Lovely hotel and beautiful setting. Food (Fish in particular) was amazing, great service during the day out on the beach. Lovely views during the day and sun set was unreal. Walking distance to bars and restaurants, there were none that we didn't like. Traffic into Split was busy but not unmanageable. Just allow extra time. Only issue we had was requested an iron, each time was told they will come back to us... they never did. Then eventually was told there wasn't one for us to borrow. Not a massive deal and didn't ruin the stay at all. I would recommend this hotel.

Nice beach area. The listing was misrepresented. Expedia stated there was minature golf, billards room, indoor/outdoor pool and motorized motor sports. Whenvwe inquired we were told that the hotel did not have yhose amenities. The front desk clerk agreed that it was a misrepresentation. Those amenities are what drove us to choose this hotel. The TV in the room did not work and no attempt was made to fix it.

I booked a so-called luxury suite, and we got one small unventilated and sun-warmed small room, which we managed to exchange for a double small room with a balcony. Quite disorganized and inhospitable reception in general. A la carte restaurant with no choice, as well as breakfast in the morning. It looks most like a canteen. I do not recommend.

Nice clean rokm,helpful staff on reception ,decent breakfast,however it says your on private beach there is no such thing and other tourists can easily rent a dunbed here so its quite small and iver crowded the big thing for me is that per person you had to pay 100 kuna for 1 bed which is atound 15 Euros even as a guest of the hotel ..I found this a total rip off as uou can walk aling 1 minute to the right and get one for 50 kuna ..so this I felt as a guest of the hotel was unfair..I have never known this anywhere and I travel a lot

Loved the hotel, the location the staff were amazing :). They let us keep our bags there till our room was ready and then again after we checked out which was fab as our flight wasnt till 10pm :) great service :) highly recommended and definitely would go again :D

Nice room, nice staff, great food. Their Italian food is as good as you’d expect in Italy. No problems with checking in and staff spoke English. It’s on the beach and swimming is as nice here as anywhere in Split. All of Split has gravel beaches. Maybe it’s common in Split, but I did not appreciate the charge of 70 HRK per sun bed per day, and an additional 70 HRk for a parasol. The hotel needs a janitor, as they are a bit behind with the upkeep. This did not trouble us at all.

Great place to stay to explore Split combined with a beach. Hotel is in a lovely spot right on the beach, Podstrana is not that exciting but reason we stayed was proximity to Split and being on a beach, the bus to Split stops right outside and costs around £3 each way. The hotel is modern and clean and we were upgraded to a suite which was a nice surprise. The reception staff were welcoming and friendly. The breakfast at the hotel is ok but not up to 4* standard. All in all good value.
