    We stayed here for 4 nights. The good things are the rooms are spacious, the staff is really kind and nice and really do help and it’s close to everything. We practically walked to everything. My issues were, on the first night the bath tub wasn’t draining. The lights went out due to a short circuit the first night. The property is on top of a metro line and consequently there is noise from the metro. And my room was on the first floor facing the busy street and the noise from the street was also coming through into the room. The property is old and does require some TLC. This my second time in Barcelona and I stayed in the hotel behind this which is newer and none of the noise issues.

    Writing A can burst inside the fridge, spilling sugary drinks everywhere. I reported it to reception, and although they promised to arrange cleaning, nothing had been done by the time I returned a day later. When I raised the issue again, the receptionist simply asked for my room number and whether I wanted it cleaned now, without even offering an apology. Very disappointing service and a lack of basic courtesy and accountability.
