Great staff, great location. Felt almost homely. Shared bathrooms were fine although 2/3 on our floor didn’t have working showers. Overall a great location for Helsinki.

I stayed at Euro Hostel in Helsinki during my trip from India, and overall, I had a really pleasant experience. The location is convenient, and the hostel offers great value for money.
The room was quite small, which is typical for many hostels in Europe, but it felt surprisingly luxurious and well-maintained. Everything was spotlessly clean — almost like brand new. The bedding was comfortable, and the room had a nice, cozy vibe.
The shared bathrooms were excellent — extremely clean, modern, and in perfect condition. There was both hot and cold water with good pressure, and the automatic luxury shower was a nice touch. Even though it was shared, it never felt crowded or unclean during my stay.
The shared kitchen was also very clean and well-equipped, making it easy to prepare simple meals. WiFi worked reliably throughout the property, which was perfect for staying connected. I also really enjoyed the view from the room — it was quite scenic and added to the overall charm.
If you're a traveler looking for a clean, comfortable, and affordable place in Helsinki, I would definitely recommend Euro Hostel. It's a great choice for solo travelers or couples who appreciate cleanliness and basic luxury without paying high hotel prices.

The rooms were kind of like dorm rooms, with a small bed, desk, and closet. It was pretty spacious though compared to other hostels I've stayed at. The free morning sauna was a treat and I preferred that to the regular showers. The regular showers didn't have a place to put clothes and had a funky smell which I wasn't a fan of. There's a kitchen on select floors. I had my yogurt stolen though so that was a bummer... Not sure how often they clean out the fridges, but after one night it was gone. The hostel is a bit away from the center of Helsinki, but very convenient if you're planning on hopping on the ferry to and from Estonia!
