    I stayed in a superior double room in this resort for 5 days during the off season and was delighted with the place and the experience. The courteous staff at the reception welcomed and greeted me with a beaming smile and a refresher tray which made the check-in experience pleasant. The room and bathroom was refreshing and spotless, the bed was super comfortable with a private balcony surrounded by the lush green gardens and a view that peeks into the horizon of the Andaman sea, while the resort corridors and walkway paths were kept spick and span by the staff. The morning buffet breakfast had a delectable spread of continental, international and local Thailand delicacies. Not to mention, it has 2 big pools with games, and a poolside bar to chill with drinks, perfect for kids, solo and family folks alike. A small fitness centre perched above the pool was good enough to break into a quick workout and the free wi-fi connection was great but it was unsecured. Perfect for an brisk early morning walk to the nearby Kata beach to sit on the bench sipping coffee and viewing surfers maneuvering their boards attempting to catch a perfect wave to break into, or to even take a walk/run in the neighborhood Karon community park to catch a glimpse of the back of Big Buddha on the hilltop. An evening was spent walking through the nearby night market to relish some local delicacies with vegan/vegetarian friendly stalls as well as a refresh of fruit smoothies/milkshakes. Overall, I had a memorable stay in this resort while visiting Phuket with a lovely vibe, and a relaxing vacation.

    Stayed at Chanalai Flora Resort and honestly had a really good experience from start to finish. The staff were super friendly and helpful throughout the whole stay, always smiling and very welcoming especially towards kids, which made the atmosphere feel comfortable for families. The pool-facing room (We took the Superior Double) was definitely worth it — nice view, relaxing vibe, and great to chill after coming back from the beach. Location is also very convenient, just a short walking distance to Kata Beach with plenty of food, massage shops, and small stores nearby. The resort itself has a peaceful tropical feel and the pools were clean and enjoyable. Breakfast was decent with enough variety to start the day. Only small downside is the parking area is quite limited, so renting a bike is probably the easiest option if you plan to move around a lot. Overall, really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely consider coming back again when visiting Kata. Great value, friendly staff, family-friendly atmosphere, and an easy location for beach holiday vibes.
