Great view

Good location

We were on the fourth floor in the attic. Bathroom was down the hall. Room was very basic. However the setting was beautiful and convenient.

We loved the location in Wengen and wished we had more time there to explore all the things to do and see on foot. A picturesque traditional Swiss building right in the middle of the village and the cows came right by our door.

Great stay

This hotel is the worst among the hotels I've ever stayed at around the world! Bad facilities, rude stuff, poor environment. The setting of this hotel is, the first floor is a restaurant and 2nd above is the hotel with a same owner. The facilities are pretty old and some of them are broken or not functioning properly. There is no A/C, no fan, no refrigerator, no microwave, no coffee/tea.... The staffs there are not friendly. When they met guests they just ignore and even when I said hi to them they didn't have any response. The front desk was taken care of by the restaurant waitress/waiter. They came late and stop the service early (they might be there in the evening when the restaurant is still open if you are lucky). There is a terrace right outside my room window (on the same level). They run a bar there. At the first couple of nights the bar, even though it's a bit noisy, got quite after 9:00pm or 10:00pm. So I had no complaint about it. At the last night, it was pretty noisy. The bar played music and their customers were chatting there loudly, even after 11:00 they won't stop. I normally go to bad at 10:00pm and get up early. But the noise made me hard to fall into sleep. At around 11:15 I went down to the front desk and I was lucky that there happen to be a stuff there. I complained to her about the noise and asked her to make them quite so I can sleep. Know what she said? It's out of our control! So ridiculous, unprofessional and make no any sense. It's your property.

The staff was welcoming, but when we arrived in the room, the light did not work. Moreover, the bathroom was located inside the room, which made our stay uncomfortable. The towels were not changed during our stay, and even when we tried to ask at the reception, there was almost never anyone available. We brought some disposable items, but the cleaner placed them in the desk drawers, so we did not realize we had actually lost them until we stayed at the next hotel. We would not recommend this hotel for a vacation. We even saw some guests who were not given their room number or key by the reception, and they eventually chose a room by themselves!!

It was such a lovely place! Absolutely gorgeous setting. The rooms are simple and clean but small. The staff was so friendly! Would stay there again!

Pros : Close to Wengen station, walkable distance, Amazing location. Good pricing. Staff Juan was very helpful & nice. Cons : Room service person not changed our towels for four days even after requesting it. Common bathroom & toilet on each floor. Bath soap / hand soap was not there. No elevator. You have to climb stairs with big bags. No air conditioner or fan. Was not able to sleep properly due to high temperature.

This property is in a great location. Center of the village and was great for accessing anything in the area. The room lacked basic options for heating water (tea), a mini fridge for leftovers, or a way to warm toast or food up. Overall worth it for location but lacked many basic essentials

Wasn’t expecting much due to past reviews. Did smell dusty and it was hard to find people at the desk, other than that ok. Would say it felt very much like a hostel not hotel.

Walkable from the station, and near the gondola station, located on the Main Street near the church. No lift thus not recommended for those with heavy large suitcase. We left the suitcase in the basement ski room entering from the ski room door thus no need to carry downstairs. Limited staff but helpful. We had a room with view of the church but the clock rang every half hour even during the night. The room was okay with rather small bathroom but not thoroughly cleaned. We had dinner at the restaurant - Swiss sausage with rosti and raclette and finishing with Apfel strudel which we enjoyed. Very attentive service.

Location and view are excellent. Rooms are basic and outdated but clean and comfortable. Shared bathrooms are also very clean. Service is excellent in both the hotel and restaurant downstairs. Shared fridge available. Also a water cooler to fill your bottle. Short walk to train station. Cable car is right across the street.

It was a good stay. It had a bed, a compact bathroom without dustbin. Sink (and only one dustbin) in room in front of the bed. View from the window was nice, I could see the wengen mannlichen gondola. Location of the hotel was few minutes away from station and walkable. Room was perfect for a budget stay in Wengen and I liked it. Few negative points that bothered me but I didn't mind, cause i was outside all day and did not spend that much time in the hotel. 1. The check-in of hotel is between 2PM to 6PM. After that a 50CHF charge for even late in evening check in which is a problem For that I had to schedule my flight accordingly so that i won't reach wengen from Zurich later than the time slot. Usually people reach early in morning and get early check-in or get locker, store the luggage, spent the whole day sightseeing and check in late in evening. But that was not possible without paying extra money which was very upsetting. My one day almost got wasted. 2. The hotel does not have elevator. I got room on 2nd floor, so I had to drag my heavy suitcase up the stairs. So it was bit difficult. 3. They don't have a separate dustbin in bathroom . It was bit awkward to put that tissue waste in tiny plastic bags in dustbin that was placed in front of bed below the sink. 4. I stayed for 4 days and the towels were never changed. Brown Towels had pink stains on it. 5. Garbage was emptied every day but Garbage lining bag was not changed for 4 days of my stay. It was bit icky.

Quiet and beautiful surroundings. We enjoyed the breakfast. The shower and toilet in the room is rather small. It is quite tough to lug our luggages up the stairs up to the room, especially those on 3rd level.

Nice place near shopping and other town opportunities.

This hotel is up stairs, close to the train station, easy to find. We had a great room with a loving view. The staff were great. and so helpful. A lovely coffee made by a lovely lady down stairs to start the day.

No elevator. Room was small, bed was low and hard. Credit card machine did not work. Very nice town and view. Overall very average.

The room wasn't that big, but it was clean and comfortable for 3 days. The view of the mountains from the room was also wonderful like Switzerland. On the last day, they took care of the big luggage, and I enjoyed the Bengen hike with light luggage and heart. Thank you very much.

Absolutely loved the village. Hotel was comfortable, aurhentic, and quaint. Could have used a fan or a/c because the room got hot.

The room is clean and tidy. The carpet needs a bit cleaning as it has a weird smell Excellent price and view from the room and the room has a sink with drinkable cold water and soap. There are multiple shared bathrooms and toilets in every floor which were nice spacious and clean. In the basement there is a fridge and a kettle for coffee. You can also get an iron if needed. Excellent central location and price and would recommend.

Our family of five really enjoyed our stay. Very friendly staff. They offered a hot pot (for boiling water) and electric adaptor as a courtesy. The rooms aren't that big and not as nice as a hotel room, but you're in the Alps, so get out there and enjoy them!
