    It's a feast property near thun, can easily get there by bus. Rooms are spacious and clean, staff are friendly. Breakfast was okay nothing special.

    A big THANK YOU to all the staff members who were awesome and made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. A special THANK YOU to Hannah, our awesome waitress who handled our quirkiness in the most professional and sweet way and another big THANK YOU to Hanan and her colleagues at the reception who made us feel welcomed, gave us all the information and suggestions we needed and made sure we enjoyed our stay. The hotel location is awesome. Being able to have breakfast on this terrace, sitting at almost water level facing the mountains and the amazing views in the perfect little morning breeze is priceless. You can also chill out in one of the two hammocks in the garden or go for a swim in the lake from the little pontoon just in front of the hotel. You can walk along the shore for 3 minutes and hop on a boat that goes round the lake too. We did not because they were packed :-) Our room was on the 2nd floor and had an amazing view (even though the hotel calls it "partial"). It was clean and if you leaned the windows open at night, not only would it let some nice freshness into the room but you could hear the water lapping the shore. The restaurant is awesome but closed on Mondays and Tuesdays so we only got to enjoy it one evening SADLY, but we would definitely eat there again with no hesitation. Compliments to the chef ! We highly recommend to ask for the Thunersee Panorama Card (it's free!) and amongst many discounts on various activities, the best part is that you can ride public transportation for free! It's a pain to park in Thun, so jump on bus 21 (the bus stop is just across the street!) and you'll be in the centre of Thun in 10min hassle free. A few minor downsides : the hotel has a limited amount of parking spaces, so once it's full, you might have to circle around the neighbourhood or go park at the Migros nearby (which is NOT free). The breakfast buffet is served everyday (even when the restaurant is closed) and is great, but make sure you arrive early so you don't miss out. Next time, I would like a firmer pillow. This one was sooo soft, I almost fell through it once I put my head on it. So I pimped it up with a small chair pillow I found in the room. No biggie at all, but I thought it was worth mentioning. All in all a great experience and we can only highly recommend the Hotel Bellevue au Lac in Thun ! Amy&Alexander

    I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it. I was pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a spacious half lake-view room, and the views were absolutely amazing. The hotel offers stunning views of Lake Thun and the surrounding mountain peaks. The location is excellent, with a bus stop just 2 minutes away. The Panorama Card provided by the hotel allows free travel to Thun and Interlaken, making it very convenient to explore the area. Overall, a fantastic experience with beautiful scenery, great comfort, and an excellent location.
