Love love love everything about this place. The gps had trouble finding it, but I am sure it was because of the construction work going on in the city. I highly recommend this place. I slept like a baby in the their super comfortable beds and the breakfast was really nice.

I have had an excellent stay, too bad I did not stay long enough to enjoy confort and the amaizing buffet at Breakfast. Somebody is available to cook your fresh eggs the way you want! Fresh fruits, large choice of breads and viennoiseries, fresh smoothies and much more. Clean and quie. I highly recommend.

Nice hotel with great beds and facilities. Only bad thing is the fact that you can hear everything going on in the corridors - doors slamming and people talking. But overall a good hotel for an overnight stay and staff was very friendly.

We had to stay overnight as we were snowed in. Great place, really clean and comfortable and fantastic breakfast. Recommended. The restaurant next door is really good as well.

This is a lovely hotel. The room was a good size and clean. The bed was very comfortable too. The staff were friendly and efficient and parking was easily available. There are two car parks at this hotel. One in front and one behind the hotel. We weren't able to eat at the bar in the grounds as it was fully booked, but were reccomended the italian 3 mins walk down the road which was very good. Breakfast at L'amandier was superb. There was a very large choice of items on the buffet as well as eggs cooked for you. The food was all very high quality. We enjoyed our stay here and would happilly book again if we are ever back in the area.

Very enjoyable stay. Run by a couple who could not be more accommodating. Language was a challenge but turned out to be a fun experience. Breakfast was excellent. We were in a downtown neighbourhood and got a feel for the culture of Lens before visiting Vimy Ridge Memorial.

This was a stay on our way to SW Germany and we were so impressed with the hotel we changed our booking for our return leg so that we can stay there again. The room was excellent with very comfortable beds,clean, quiet and excellent bathroom. The breakfast was outstanding in every respect, huge choice, delicious omelettes all served in a dining room with superb views of the countryside. The staff could not have been more helpful and one spoke good English. For all our future trips to SW Germany we now know where we will stay each time. Cannot recommend it enough

Used for 2 one night stops en-route to destination in Austria. very quite to recover from a long days drive

Visited in July and it was hot outside. Initially everything seemed fine at check in but there was no air conditioning in the hotel. seemed very strange because it seems to be a newer building. Had the windows open at night to cool things down but that allowed flies to get in. Lots of flies. I booked through Expedia and payment was due upon check out. The guy at the desk had problems with the credit card machine and I had to go to the bank and pull out cash to pay. Unbelievable.
