Both dinner and breakfast were excellent

We drove past the place a couple of times as the advertisement board was obscured by foliage and a car. Parking was available but across the road in a public area just off the street

Breakfast was excellent, room was very comfortable, we both had a good night's sleep. Delightful garden and very pleasant host, quiet location in a pretty village.

Only negative was the milk in the room which had gone off.

You will go for the place, but you will revisit for the people

Beautiful place, cozy and warm, impeccably clean. But the most important element is the service. Both the hosts and the staff were genuinely kind, trying to make it easy for our family, adapting to our wishes (kids do have some...) I recommend it wholeheartedly. PS. The area is also very nice.

A place with a welcoming atmosphere

It was a great accident that happened to us. We were going to drive our old car to Paris from Germany with our kids. We decided to stay there as our stopover. The first time was a Tuesday, Unfortunately the kitchen was closed, we couldn’t have dinner there. But we had the breakfast next day morning. It was really good. We had a great time there with our kids. They have many books, Tabletop games. My 3 year old girl loves it. And they prepared also baby Bett for my 6 months old baby. The rooms were also very comfortable. We stayed 2nights there. We decided to stay there one more time when we were on our way back to Germany. Because it was a very good experience we’ve been there before, and we’d like to try the dinner as well. Second time was yesterday Sunday, they served dinner, luckily we booked a table for us. It’s not a big dining room but so cozy warm and welcoming. Food was also very good. We had an amazing time there.

A great place to spend a weekend in couple or with family/friends. A very friendly and welcoming owner. Highly recommend a restaurant which is in the same building - fresh local products, good value for money. A beautiful garden (where you can have breakfast if the weather is good) and a swimming pool are additional pluses.

Very nice family business - a lot of care and attention to detail. The whole extended family is involved and all give an effort. Family rooms - enough space and very comfortable Beautiful design in the common spaces where modern meets old - nice touches with old tables, closets and racks Great food! Restaurant was really surprisingly good - nice touches with local and home made options wherever possible. A mix between rustic & fine dining - but more accent on taste than form. Breakfast was lovely, too. Cute garden. Pool: tiny but functional. Sauna: functional.

Its' a small beautiful hotel in the heart of a beautiful village with nice nature! Quiet place perfect for relaxing, hotel is nicely designed (complex of rural & modern), we booked a triple room which was actually for 4 persons, Delicious fresh Breakfast, more than you expect from a small hotel like this, the variety of items was good enough (off course you should not compare it to 5* brand hotels), nice view, Nice staff

Perfect spot and relaxing stay in the middle of Ardennes

The location is perfect of the hotel. In the middle of the village, but in a quiet street. Really high appreciated the superfriendly and welcoming staff, who are speaking english pretty well. The room is comfortable and bigger than expected on the photoes. Loved the idea of nature friendly + modern designs combination. Had a very good sleep and rest during my stay. And the food…. Is just delicious! Starting from special dinner offers till wide choices of breakfast. I was thrilled that they put everybody’s breakfast plate a fresh strawberry: like somebody is smiling you at start of the day :) What else is needed?! Extra plus : you can purchase local beers here, also another local products (sorry can not tell more due to I was more related to Trappist Abbey Hiking route). Just highly recommend to Everybody! Wish to go and stay over there again!

A perfect stay, we certainly go back there.

The location was as expected. The owner was very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The room was spacious and clean and the bed was kingsize and very comfortable. We planned to even use the sauna but couldn't because we hadn't enough time. We had dinner, the three-course menu and it was great. We liked that we were asked what we wanted for breakfast, this way no food is wasted. All in all a very nice stay.

A perfect stay in a lovely place

Lovely accomodation, clean and in a beautiful location with a lot of things to do nearby. Staff very nice and helpful. Excellent food and rich breakfast. It also has a small backyard where you can relax. Small fridge in the room and also one available on the hallway together with a microwave which was very useful.

Pre-Christmas hiking break in Herbeumont

Great location for hikes around Herbeumont, Semois is just amazing there. We very much appreciated the possibility of being served in the room during Corona. The evening menu was great and the breakfast amazing! Sauna and jacuzzi were of course unfortunately closed. We had the top floor room with skylights, with exposed wooden beams and big shower. It was nicely warm with immediate supply of hot water.

Just little nuisance - it took some time to find the Flemish channels on TV (they start at 251, if you want to know) and the news kept breaking up.
