Nice Hotel with Excellent Restaurant

The hotel is very close to Orval and an hour drive from Chimay. The restaurant next door is excellent. The calvados crepes for dessert were a great choice. There is plenty of parking, there is a bar next door with great beer on tap, and the rooms were comfortable.

Very friendly staff, a very nice quiet room, and the dinner was excellent.

To some, the nice lady managing the breakfast may come across as a bit too direct, especially when you do not speak French, but she means well!

Room was great, breakfast selection was not bad either, very helpful reception staff member. Really nice hotel and good location.

Felt like the hotel was a bit too expensive for what was on offer and the room booked. Staff at breakfast was a bit rude to my non-French speaking partner.

Very good

New, nicely decorated hotel. Friendly reception. Well equipped and clean room (airco also) with kitchen and bed in the mezzanine upstairs. Also same style decorated restaurant and piano bar. Florenville as such is not so interesting, except church with beautiful view on the Semois and the Gaume area from tower. From this place you can easily reach all nearby locations: Bouillon, Orval, parc de la Gaume,... In front of the hotel is a 'salaisons' factory with a store on the main square. You can buy local products.

For the price paid breakfest could have been included. The restaurant has good ratings and was fully booked on Saterday evening. We made a reservation at arrival, but were put in the veranda without prior informing us. That was a bit disappointing, we missed the nicely decorated dining rooms inside. Service took quite long, was limit. Suggestion entrecote was not of the expected meat quality. So more brasserie quality overall than more refined dishes, a bit overprized.

At the reception, they informed us 830pm is the last order but there were so many enjoying dinner 1030pm. Little bit misleading as we had to rush to the hotel. However, it was a good hotel and restaurant. I would come back again.

The best hotel at Florenville!

Staff spoke dutch and was very friendly and helpful. Room was top, very luxourious and clean. Soft beds, airco, spacious bathroom. Our breakfast had a very wide and tastefull selection. Fantastic restaurant, don't forget to make a reservation.

Water coming from below the shower door, but that's not really a big issue.

One of My Favorite Hotels to Visit

The people who work at the hotel were so friendly and helpful, and the room was quite spacious. Also, the restaurant attached to the hotel is highly recommended.

As much as I enjoyed my stay, I didn’t feel the breakfast was worth 18€.

Wonderful base in Florenville.

Wonderful, modern hotel in the Center of Florenville. Excellent parking, a good restaurant and lovely staff. Well-equipped wellness facilities.

Nice location but expensive for what it is especially when you get used sheets and no hot water

the hotel is well situated in the center of the village close to restaurants

We are very concerned about the cleanliness of this hotel. Our bedsheets were clearly not clean and used before by a person with different hair color and hair lengths. Errors are human and I do not have a problem if they get acknowledged, corrected and measures are taken to avoid re-occurrence . The management of this hotel however decided to deny the issue even when shown evidence by pictures. In a second reaction, they stated that a couple of hairs is nit a big deal… not very re- assuring … Also, upon arrival, there was no hot water, which is kind of disappointing when arriving after a long cold walk. They might have had just a bad day but the reaction of the management is not providing much confidence that they take the issues serious..

Disappointing !!!

Breakfast was great! A lot of choice and very kind lady at the service.

Heating the rooms for starters. We slept badly because it was freezing cold. Only when we arrived at 4:30pm they put the heat on. The mattress way too thin!!!
