Very friendly personnel, especially owner of the hotel. The place is quiet. It is possible to sit on the terrace and relax. There is opportunity to use wellness for free. Delicious breakfast based on your selection made in the evening what you want to eat (so there is no wasting food).

Beautiful, clean and homey location; hidden gem. Well organized with check in. & check out, preselection for breakfast, fresh & delicious breakfast, very accommodating. cozy spa facilities in separate structure in the backyard (sauna, pool, jacuzzi), expansive green lawn to lounge in , with a goat pen, greenhouses, table tennis. customer service: A+.

For a work traveller, this place feels like a home away from home.

The owners are delightful, so helpful. The property is lovely and immaculately kept. The rooms are comfortable, clean, spacious and have every amenity. The breakfast is excellent. I will definitely return on my next trip.

I seldom get around to reviews but making an exception - the Albizia owners have made a beautiful place here, wellness centre is better than many hotels, lovely house and gardens, many nice little touches. They were also welcoming and professional. We picked as a stop on alternative route driving back from Switzerland to the Tunnel - but already I am thinking about making a trip to the Ardennes for which we use L’Albizia as a base.

The best place in the area

This place is really unique. The owners really care about the guests and the hotel which is evident everywhere. You choose your breakfast the night before and it is freshly cooked and delivered to the table. In the evenings you can sit in the cosy lounge which has a small library and read a book without feeling self conscious. I have no idea how they do it but you feel at home rather than in a hotel.

There is no dinner option but there are plenty of good places nearby to try out

Perfect in every way

The personal attention makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. The rooms are clean, the breakfast is very good (especially the omelette, all fresh ingredients). The swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi are included in the hotel price. By far the best hotel we’ve stayed in!

Avoid. At all costs. Rudeness. Unprofessional behavior. Lack of hospitality.

If it were not for the ridiculously rude mentality of the hosts, the place itself is pretty, sauna and pool nice, breakfast good.

Horrible experience on the total lack of hospitality. Rude hosts with no empathy or business sense. Only interested in the money. We had to end our long awaited birthday get away as for the cats roaming around (not mentionned, and denied, then admitted by owner) or the dust my wife had a very severe allergic asthma attack. Not only did they refuse to charge us only for the night we used, claiming they are not at fault for the medical emergency, and they can not lose money, they also did not let our friends in the vicinity take over for the one night left. no reason given. simply no. So no service offered, yet money taken. They were particularly rude, even suggesting my wife was faking her illness (beside this being an utterly insensible thing to do on a holiday she has planned and prepared for for long weeks, it is mindblowing how they even dared to take that attitude towards their guests). Already at arrival they plainly refused to check the offered Covid certificates, which made the breakfast rather uncomfortable sitting half a meter on both sides from strangers, with unchecked Covid status (all this in december when rules were much stricter still and hotels had a legal obligaiton to check the Covid passports of all guests).

Absolutely loved our stay in this hotel. The staff is friendly and the house is beautifully decorated and is sooooo cozy! You can have a drink or read a book in the salon. The wellness is great as well!

I stumbled across this place late at night while travelling from Calais to Italy. It was such a lovely surprise to find

L’Albizia is a period building which has been beautifully and tastefully restored in a modern fashion making it extremely comfortable and relaxing to be in.

The staff were professional and helpful as well as being accommodating and thinking about every need a traveller might have.

Worth staying more nights

The whole accommodation is fantastic. Jacuzzi and swimming pool were an extra to a very well suited facility. Very comfortable bed and roomy bathroom. No noise from the local road passing along the house. Private parking. Our bikes were kept in a locked room for our peace of mind.

We stayed one night only and found nothing to complain about.
