We booked a room with a balcony and were disappointed it was in a corner, was small (as was the room) and had 4 air conditioning units on the balcony. They moved us the next day to a fantastic room with a large balcony and a much bigger room. I’m not sure whether it was the same grade or an upgrade but the difference was really significant.

The view from the balcony overlooking Siena really gorgeous. And the location being right beside the city old mediaeval Fortress wall was quite cool to be able to walk around and see the sites. Also, just a 10 minute walk into the city Square.

I was appalled at the treatment of the front staff. Those that appeared to be upper management were extremely rude. There was a young girl by the name of Sophia and a night receptionist (male) that were kind and went over and above! The ladies working in the cafeteria and the maids were extremely kind too. In fact, I would go to them for assistance in order to avoid the front desk.

We really liked our one night here. The location is close enough to easily walk to the city center but far enough away for it to be quiet when the city is bustling at night. We had a room with a terrace view of the city and enjoyed the couple hours we were able to sit out there. It's also conveniently located near the train station, only about five minutes by taxi to get there.

This is a functional hotel. Bed was comfortable and my view was amazing. It is walking distance to the city center and on a bus line if the incline (hill) is too much. Basic: old school with physical keys and light from the hall shone around the door at night. But, I was lucky and the hall was quiet. The breakfast was good. No complaints-

Location was excellent in Siena. Our balcony overlooked the city and at night the view was breath taking. Breakfast is provided and was delicious; Had a little of everything. It was very walkable to the center of the city etc.
