    Got 2 double beds for me and a friend, was nice and clean. For a 4 star thought it would be more modern but was nice. Close to the metro which is a bonus.

    Perfect location for where we needed to be in Barcelona. Close to the bus and metro lines, walking distance to many restaurants. Clean and comfortable. Favorite was the reserved spa. Highly recommended.

    This was our first time visiting Barcelona, and my mom and I really regret booking this hotel. It was honestly the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I don’t want to say anything bad about all the staff, because the young man who welcomed us at reception was very kind, polite, and helpful. He gave us useful information, and although the room was very small and door to the toilet it creaked a lot (definitely not what I would expect from a 4-star hotel) — we arrived in a good and positive mood. Unfortunately, our experience changed completely the next day because of the hotel manager. He was extremely rude and unprofessional. It honestly seemed like he did not know how to communicate with guests or how to represent a 4-star hotel professionally. We simply asked if it was possible to change our room because it was extremely noisy. There was renovation work taking place in the room right next to ours from early in the morning, and the noise was so disturbing that it woke us up very early. Instead of trying to help or find a solution, the manager started arguing with me. He told me that the renovation was normal, that they had the legal right to do it, and that if I didn’t like it, I could call the police — but they wouldn’t do anything anyway. He continued arguing and saying things that were completely inappropriate and unnecessary. I told him directly that his way of speaking to me was rude and unacceptable. He didn’t apologize or even try to understand our situation. Instead, he simply said that this was my opinion and that he had a different one. After this conversation, our mood was completely ruined. I really hope the hotel owner reads this review, because in my opinion, this manager needs to be replaced or, at the very least, seriously reconsider his approach to communicating with guests. A manager should know how to handle complaints professionally and try to find solutions instead of arguing with customers. His attitude seriously damages the reputation of the hotel. For us, this was absolutely not a 4-star experience. Based on our stay, I would rate it no more than 2 stars.
