Apex Waterloo Place Hotel

The only minus was the quality of cocktails in the bar, it was just measure, pour shake, no muddling of fresh ingredients eg mojito disappointing. No muddling of lime & mint. For a 4 star hotel, just no effort put in. Lovely staff, great location, very clean, we had a good sleep, plus the air conditioning was a bonus. But not a city view, it was a view of air duct/piping.

I stayed here from March 24 to 25. The location is very convenient, just a short walk from the station, with an easy shortcut available. The bedroom was excellent, and the bathtub was a highlight. The pool was average, but the staff were fantastic—very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The food at the bar was decent. Overall, a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Comfortable hotel, friendly staff & a good breakfast with plenty of choice

We stayed here for two nights. We booked this hotel through Agoda. We booked the room with city view. When we checked in our room and found that room was not city view one. We came to reception to inquire about the same and there was one pathetic guy front desk manager namely *** i guess. We asked him about the room. He asked us about the site from where we booked this room to which we stated we booked the room through Agoda. He stated we don’t have city view room in the hotel and there was misinformation on Agoda website. I didn’t argue and walked away. Agoda also didn’t do anything. Both of them have cheated us. We paid the price of city view room. The said pathetic guy didn’t do anything and was quite rude. Had he been in our country, I would have sued him. Then about room, the bath area in the bathroom was clogged and i have shared the pic of the same. Can you expect that from 4 star property. Then about to breakfast , you will meet one lady at entrance who was like had no purpose of life. She had poker face and was not welcoming at all. She took us to our table and thereafter, no one came to take the order for 20 minutes. The breakfast was such a pathetic one. I think they should shut down the restaurant. If you have ordered anything, then atleast spare about 40 minutes till your order arrives that also for prefixed menu. Overall, the experience with staff, room, breakfast was terrible. You don’t have to believe me. One can experience themselves and waste their money.
