    You can tell the hotel hasn’t been updated ever since early 2000s. From the lobby to the room, everything spells nostalgia. Fortunately, dated doesn’t mean they slack on comfortability of the bed and bedding, and staff are generally professional and helpful to modern standards. Front desk staff Verni and Pedro are very helpful with the check in check out process. The hotel benefits from situating in a quaint neighborhood at a roundabout of a gentle slope, lying just between Almeda station (Vd/Vm line) and Saldanha station (Vm/Am line), so it’s quite convenient to get to places. The hotel could use some updating in the future to enhance its facilities, most importantly to add a hydraulic system to room doors so that you won’t hear other guests banging their doors so often.
