    Our stay in this Hotel was excellent. It is located near Calle Crisologo just few steps. The staff / guard was amazing and kind. Thank u Ciudad🫶🫶🫶

    Stayed at Ciudad Fernandina for overnight stay. We checked in at around 3pm and the staff was courteous but highly transactional. What made me uncomfortable was the incidental deposit of PHP500 . I gave them 1000 but since they had no change, they informed me (not asked) that the deposit will be 1000 pesos. Coming from a 9hr drive, i didn’t argue and just received the keys. My companion and I, went out to explore around and later that evening, when we got back in the hotel, we realized that we forgot the room key inside. So we went back to the front desk and asked for another key. The front desk refused to give another key and simply called somebody to open the the door for us. Take note thst the key is not a metal key, it’s just a keycard where they can easily program another one. I also understand that if i lost the key, i will be charged 500 pesos per key card. I gave a 1000 deposit and i cant get another key? The plated breakfast was okay. I got the american plate, and my partner got Filipimo plate. Mine was good, with butter and toast and my preferred egg and bacon. Unfortunately for my partner, the rice served wasn’t fully cooked. We could still chew uncooked rice grains. Our favorite about this property is the location. Quiet, not along the busy street yet it is accessible to where we want to be. Overall, despite the service orientation of the staff, and experience during breakfast, I might still consider returning to the hotel if they significantly lower their rates.
