    The host was extremely unresponsive. We called her 21 times, and every single call was either rejected or declined. All of our text messages were unreplied even after check out. When we finally entered the room, it was clearly not prepared for new guests. The smell was awful. There was no soap or toilet tissue, the bathroom floor was filthy, and worst of all, the bedsheets, covers, and blankets had obviously been used by the previous guests. We decided to check out early because we cannot take the smell any longer. We spoke with the condo security personnel, and they were the ones who apologized to us. They mentioned that we were already the third guests that day to complain about the same host. This was, by far, the worst accommodation experience we’ve ever had. I would not recommend staying here unless significant improvements are made.

    I’ve booked a condo in Baguio before, located in the heart of the city, and my experience was excellent. The unit was very clean, came with complete toiletries, and I had absolutely no complaints. This time, however, I wanted to try something different and find a more peaceful place to stay. I came across this room on Agoda, and based on the photos, it looked nice and inviting. Unfortunately, I decided to give it a try without checking the reviews first. That was my mistake. The experience was incredibly disappointing. The room smelled bad, and the strong smell of fresh paint triggered my rhinitis. The bedsheets, pillowcases, and blanket also smelled terrible, making me question whether they had been properly washed. Despite my booking stating that free coffee and tea were included, there were none. No basic toiletries, bath soap, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, or tissue were provided. The kitchen had no sponge or dishwashing liquid, the refrigerator was dirty, and the microwave was full of rust. I could hear other guests enjoying their TV shows, while I couldn’t even enjoy mine because the Wi-Fi wasn’t working. I wondered if the internet subscription had expired. I reported the issue to Athena, my contact for the room, but she couldn’t offer a solution and simply asked if the Wi-Fi router was blinking red, even though the router appeared to be working fine. I missed Baguio so much and was looking forward to a peaceful getaway, but unfortunately, this accommodation ruined the experience. Guests deserve a clean, well-maintained room with the basic amenities promised in the booking.
