Tuscany Basic Urban Stay

The location of the place is perfect it is near to a lot of famous establishments such as Good taste Restaurant, Burn Ham Park, Baguio Cathedral, SM Baguio, Legarda Street, Session Road etc. Literally walking distance!!! All our travel destinations is very accessible. The hotel itself was so cozy and clean. The staff was Ok but not as warm as i expected them to be. Over all it was a great stay. I highly recommend this place!!! 💗

The hotel itself is okay—the price and location are also reasonable. However, I would like to raise a concern regarding the level of service, particularly during the check-in process. The agent who assisted us seemed to have limited knowledge when it came to guest service. The interaction felt like it was simply “one question, one answer.” She did not properly explain or recap our reservation. If we did not ask questions, she would not provide any additional information. I understand that the standard check-in time is at 2:00 PM. However, when I asked if an early check-in was possible, the only response I received was, “2 PM check-in!” I believe this could have been handled more professionally by simply explaining the policy and letting us know whether early check-in could be accommodated depending on room availability. The bigger concern came when we arrived in our room. We were surprised to find that the room setup was not what we had booked. I specifically booked a room with two single beds, but we were given one double bed instead. When I called the front desk to clarify, the agent repeatedly told me that the bed arrangement was “subject to availability.” However, when I made the reservation, I carefully read the details and information provided, and I did not see any statement indicating that the two-single-bed request was subject to availability. If this is an important condition of the reservation, I believe it should be clearly stated during the booking process so guests can make an informed decision. I also asked to speak with a manager. I was told that the manager would contact me within three minutes, but no one called. Since I did not receive any call, I eventually went down to the front desk that night and spoke with Kaye. Kaye was able to explain the situation much more clearly than the agent who initially checked us in. She also mentioned that this was not the first time a guest had complained about the same issue. Overall, I believe the hotel has potential, and the price and location are acceptable. However, the service and communication, especially during check-in and when handling guest concerns, need significant improvement. Guests should be given clear and complete information about their reservation, particularly when it comes to room and bed arrangements. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and reviews both the check-in process and the way reservation details.
