    Located near the center but away from the noise of the city, Anker Hotel is a great place to stay for a short trip to Oslo. Friendly staff, great facilities and an exquisite breakfast buffet, it will more than fill all your requirements for a lovely and hassle free stay.

    We stayed in May, there was cool weather, after two nights in our original room I requested either a fan to deal with having to have the window closed to block out the street noise and for some air circulation or a room change, I was offered both, I gratefully took the room change for the remaining two nights. The Anker Hotel is well located for walking into the city and train station but too handy to trams and buses which stop outside the hotel and continue well into the night. There was no air-conditioning. Apart from this, the room was comfortable with a generous breakfast included.

    I had a nice experience staying at this hotel, especially because of its convenient location close to the tram station and the pleasant surroundings. The breakfast was outstanding with a wide variety of menu options, which was definitely a highlight of my stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, contributing to a positive overall experience. While the room and bathroom were a bit less spacious than expected, everything else was good. Overall, I felt happy and satisfied with my stay, and it is definitely worth the money.

    Not worth it. Tiny bed, tiny bahtroom, not happy at all with this hotel. I wouldn't go back.
