Thon Hotel Terminus

This hotel was literally perfect for me. I came to Oslo to attend a gig in Sentrum Scene, so not only it was 4 min away from it, it was also like a 5 min walk from Oslo S and 10 min walk from Opera etc. Booking a single room I was a bit afraid it might be claustrophobic bit it was so well designed and with the big window seemed more spacious than I expected! Everything you might need is there - even an ironing set and a kettle (so cleverly hidden it doesn’t take up space), the bathroom equipped in complimentary toiletries. Also, a huge plus for a rich and tasty breakfast - you can choose from pretty much anything you could think of for breakfast. Honestly 10/10 for me.

Parking under then shopping centre across the street convenient but expensive Hotel was expensive

Location near to Oslo bus and train stations. Comfortable and roomy. Good breakfast. Close to the center, Opera house, Munch museum for a quick visit to Oslo. Staff very friendly and willing to help with enquiries.

Location was superb! Breakfast was very good with many options.

Staff friendliness! No eye contact made between me and the man at reception when I checked in... just handed me the room card. No thanks, smile or directions to the elevator. My room - a small standard room - was claustrophobic! Ridiculously small.... I felt like Harry Potter under a stairs..
