We stayed twice in this hotel (3 nights in total) at the beginning and at the end of our trip to Norway. The location is very convenient next to the bus and train stations, also connecting to the airport. It is also convenient to explore most of Oslo on foot if you like walking. Helpful staff in both reception and rooftop restaurant. Nice rooftop. Spacious rooms (we stayed in two different categories and the standard one is already big) with nice city views (we stayed in two opposite sites).
It is a very big hotel and this comes with some expected issues. Despite the 8 lifts (serving 30+ floors in 2 groups) we often had to wait rather long to get into one of them. Quite crowded breakfast during rush hour. The variety of food however was very good and it would be nicer with smoked salmon (unless we did not spot it😊) - it is in Norway after all!
There was strong smell from the galley in the rooftop restaurant area. Need to have a shower afterwards… The menu could include more choices.

Location by the station and near the opera house was ideal. Staff were good and friendly
Lifts very complicated to operate and slow to arrive. First room we were given had wrong bed arrangement. Aircon didn't seem to be working anywhere in the hotel. Room very hot which impacted on sleep. Shower was beautiful to look at, worked very well but was lethally slippery when wet and no rubber mat was supplied so had to use a towel to avoid an accident. Swimming pool not working and strikes closed all but the expensive pizza bar. Breakfast was a big disappointment with only scrambled eggs as a cooked option without queueing. For an upmarket premium hotel I wasn't impressed
