    ​Rating: 3/5 ⭐ Great location, but room maintenance and cleanliness need improvement ​The best thing about Grand Flora Melaka is definitely its location in Kota Syahbandar. It is surrounded by plenty of cafes, restaurants, and convenience stores, making it incredibly easy to find food. Parking was also hassle-free, and the check-in process went smoothly. ​However, the room itself left a lot to be desired: ​Musty Odor: The moment I walked into the room, there was a very noticeable, damp/musty smell coming from the carpet. It really needs a deep clean or proper airing out. Bathroom Cleanliness: The overall cleanliness of the bathroom needs to be stepped up. It didn't feel as thoroughly scrubbed as it should be. ​ Missing Essential Supplies: There was a clear lack of basic amenities—no body shower gel was provided, and there was no bathroom mat outside the shower, which made the floor slippery and inconvenient. ​It is a very strategic and budget-friendly place to stay, but the management really needs to address these housekeeping and maintenance issues to ensure a comfortable stay for guests.
