Had a pleasant stay at 38CP Hotel, Alor Setar. The room was surprisingly big and spacious, making the stay very comfortable. The location is also convenient and close to the town area, so it’s easy to get around and find food nearby. Overall, a comfortable and convenient stay. Would definitely consider staying here again when I’m in Alor Setar. 👍

I had a wonderful and pleasant stay at this charming boutique hotel. The atmosphere was lovely, the service was excellent, and everything felt comfortable, welcoming, and memorable. Had a good sleep. Bed was great. Room was spacious. Low density. A lot eateries nearby, within walking distance. Near to tourist spots.

Wonderful boutique hotel located in Pekan Cina, which is the old part of Alor Setar but very close to the centre of town. There are a few cafes nearby. Lovely room facing the street. Comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Coffee/tea can be made at the reception area. No toothbrush in the bathroom but you can ask for one. I had a problem with my TV not able to connect to the Internet but the staff helped to resolve it very efficiently. Will definitely stay here again.

I actually love the concept of the hotel. There are only 5 rooms and it was quite peaceful but the moment I stepped on the pool area, a mouse was running towards me. That’s when I decided not to enjoy the swimming pool. The room is quite nice but the air conditioner installed is insufficient to cover the whole room in my humble opinion. There were also a lot of insects in the room. I was most stressed about the water pressure and inconsistency of the water temperature. The hot water was not functioning well so I was unable to enjoy the bathtub as I hate the cold water. Not to add salt to the wound but the staff/person on duty was also not really responsive within the specified working time. Overall, I would not repeat to stay there and hope the hotel could really do much better.
